Review: Tal Fussman emerges on Drumpoert and to house music at large as a young artist poised to make waves on deepr house inspired dancefloors. With releases on prestigious labels like Innervisions and his own Survival Tactics, Fussman's innovative productions skirt at the borders of techno and house. His latest offering for Drumpoet takes off with something of a futuristic house anthem in "It's Alright" before moving on to the break-beat influenced "Focus". Tracks like "Don't Want To" and "Into the Chamber" drive the EP into tribal and straight-up dancefloor vibes, while "Goal" and "Will Fade" explore emotive and experimental soundscapes. The Fuss!

Review: Global Underground's' Select' series acts as a kind of annual nod to all the electronic music that floats their boat, with each digital download edition offering two (uncredited) CD-length mixes and full then versions of each included cut. 2024's edition - volume nine in total - is naturally packed to the rafters with tasty tracks from both established producers and rising stars. That means an attractive, immersive and frequently emotive mix of ambient-tinged deep electro (Pablo Bolivar & Nacho Sanchez), evocative tech-house (Dixon re-working Nandu's 'Around', Guy J's hypnotic, acid-flecked 'State of Trance'),pitched-down neo-trance dreaminess (Joris Voorn editing Solee), grandiose big room workouts (Fur Coat & Lexur), 21st century acid house (Phunkadelica remixing Damon Jee), and uplifting progressive house (D-Nox).

Review: Laurent Garnier, Scan X, and Oliver Way's COD3 QR label remains fresh as ever with a new various artist release that brings eleven hand picked cuts from the likes of Bel Air Ltd., Tal Fussman and Jules Wells to Alex Troniq, Fanu, Voltaire, Carlos Nilmmns and Inner Ray! Lead cut "City Lights" kicks off with some deep and melancholic bassline house next to some moody techno reminiscent of early Ben Klock in "10247". "The Clap" delivers some footwork inspirations next to some spookier electro wares in "Neophile" - banging. "Pisecean" gets all breakbeat and new age in the mix alongside some warehouse techno in "Regular Disturbances" alongside some melodic 'Mathew Johnson' inspired sounds in "Old Paris". Closing out the EP is "What" - a British Murder Boys-esque slice of Middle Eastern themed gothic EBM.

Tal Fussman - "Freeze" - (6:36) 126 BPM
Skatman - "Telepathy" - (6:25) 125 BPM
Review: For the third Cognitive Prophecy release, label owner Skatman teams up with Tal Fussman. This creative relationship is borne out of a shared musical philosophy, which led to a series of studio sessions together. The title track starts the EP in epic mode; dreamy synths are fused with electronic shrieks, with these musical elements unfolding over a galloping rhythm and steely drums. "Back to the Swamp" is less frenetic, but it also features similarly uplifting synth melodies. Unfolding over a pulsating groove, the end result is a tripped out but club-focused workout. Fussman and Skatman also drop individual tracks. Fussman's "Freeze" is an icy deep house jam, while the Cognitive Prophecy boss drops a chugging workout in the shape of "Telepathy".

Review: Stepping up his game over the years, Tal Fussman is a producer that most recently has seen his music make it to Diynamic Music and Exit Strategy - who now gets the red carpet rolled out for his Innervisions debut. Children Of 95 brings the keys, beats and melodies to the game with big drops, basslines, chord progressions ever emotional, modern gospel house. The title track takes off with its sprinkling synths, heavy pianos and diva vocal that matches up alongside the Floorplan-esque "Memo". Classic Balearic house goes large on "No More" with the deeper, dubbed out techno cut of the release going to "Bridging The Gap". Hey Teacher!

Review: Dixon & Ame's esteemed Innervisons imprint returns with its annual round up of the very best in advanced house and emotive techno on the 15th edition in its Secret Weapons series. They have once again done a fine job of curation, with all artists representing its distinct sonic aesthetic, with highlights coming from: Chloe Caillet on the deep and introspective electro cut "Moonwalk", rising Israeli Tal Fussmann really nails the label's futuristic vibe on the suspenseful "Persona" and esteemed Dutch duo Glowal give you another taste of their intelligent indie-dance sound on "Figures". Review: Tal Fussman is a producer and DJ from Tel Aviv now based in Berlin, who heads up the Survival Tactics imprint. His latest comes courtesy of Exit Strategy, where he finds a fitting home for his brand of hi-tech deep house sounds. The Parallel Reality EP begins with the advanced aesthetic of "The Dawn" which conjures up images of lasers and strobe lights, followed by the emotive and soulful "Oh, Ok" which is sure to get the hands in the air. Finally, the title track incorporates Afrobeat elements and an evangelical vocal sample which adds to its overall euphoric effect.

Review: Frankey & Sandrino's Sum Over Histories is back this week with a new release by the ascendant Berlin-based/Israeli producer Tal Fussmann. The label likes all kinds of music and tries not to limit itself to just one genre. It loves artists who think the same and when finding such a rare talent, tries to showcase their versatility. Fussman really mpresses on the Here To There EP, exploring three different universes of electronic music. From the slow motion tribal house of "Noisy World", to the deep and hypnotic techno of "Possible" and the intense dancefloor drama of the title track - this one's best experienced with your eyes closed.
