Grande Serenade (original mix) - (7:12) 120 BPM
Review: Two years after delivering their decidedly delicious, self-titled debut album, Anthony Collins and Swiss scene stalwart Georgios Boutopulos AKA Dan Piu have re-activated their collaborative Theory of Movement project. What's on offer is a typically assured, mood-enhancing affair. Opener 'Para Musicale' is a dusty, mid-tempo deep house delight where gentle, sustained piano chords and raw, analogue electronic motifs rise above an undulating bassline and dirt-encrusted machine drums, while 'Fete Du Jour' is luscious, Larry Heard-influenced fare that will wrap your head in aural candyfloss. They embrace sunrise-ready ambient house sounds on the gorgeous 'Grande Serenade', before joining forces with guest ParBleu on the deep, dubby and atmospheric haziness of 'Avoir L'Air'.
