Review: Expect the sounds to be suitably deep, dark and dubby on this release on Dubthing Recordings. It really does exactly what it says on the tin with title track "Dub Affair" which is full of hollow, bongo-like beats in a dark, super dense soundscape and a rich, velvety bassline which glowers below passionately. And so it continues for the duration. "Sound Mechanic", up next, builds from a Dub Phizik's-esque intro into a moody, murky piece with humming bassline, gently dribbling beats and plenty of dub seeping out from every pore.
