Review: Next up from Thuja, a seriously tasty chop through distant grinding bass notation and hard hitting sub pulses as he lands on LDH for a four track display to turn up the pressure on any dancefloor. Firstly, the eerie rattles and shuffling percussion of 'Richter Dub' float into view, giving us a gnarly introduction to say the least, before the more syncopated rhythms and organic drum work of 'Sinister' slows the pace with a more stripped back, trippy feel. Next, the fluttering synthesiser scuttles of 'Skullz' give us another new direction from Thuja, who has clearly used this EP as a way of showcasing range, with the marching subs and dubwise drum delays of 'Soundboy' then seeing the EP out with a classy finish.
