Review: The In:flux Audio crew have been delivering top quality music for a long time now, 10 years to be precise, and what better way to celebrate than to bring back a number of their heaviest hitters for a fiery collection. Featuring a truly outstanding roster, with the likes of Dr Oscillator, RDubz, Dystinkt, Pelikann and more, this is a great showcasing of what the In:flux sound has represented over the years. Despite being a vibrant collection from top to bottom, two tracks stand out immediately, with the liquified synthesiser swipes of Fork And Knife's 'Jank' and the gnarly, mechanical bass design of Tik&Borrow's 'Kharon' both being real flag flyers. What an achievement!

Review: With a strong catalogue of both bass and dubstep behind them over the years, we always get excited to see a new outing from the Tik&Borrow boys, a duo that have constantly wowed us with their system-ready creations. Joining forces with Dread Or Dead for this latest drop, we are greeted with an immediate sense of grizzly potency as 'Disintegrate' kicks us off with a subby slap to the face, followed by the glitchy percussive mastery of 'Lord', another whomper, jam-packed with low-thudding energy. Next up, the remix section, as Basura & Persy firstly arrive to give 'Disintegrate' another gnarly spin off, with Imakemusicbtw then sending 'Lord' down a much more stripped back avenue. Very tidy indeed!

Review: The In:flux crew have smashed their first Tik&Borrow drop of the year out of the park, giving us four monuments of steppers-infused heat, perfect for the late night raving crew. We begin with 'Sable', a glittering gallop through tidy synthetic backdrops and dithering delays, with the title track 'Revolution' then following with a much more traditionally stripped back, subby feel! From here, the breaks-infused percussive chops of 'Avril' give the EP a slightly more unique feel as we hear bitcrushed snares lead the way, closing off the tracklisting with the marvellous manipulations of Saraphim, delivering a murky overhaul to 'Sable', drawing the project to a weighty close!

Review: Normally with In:flux we are given release after release of original dubstep heat from their now extensive catalogue of talented producers. Today however, the bosses are back in business as Tik&Borrow make their return across two powerful originals and a couple of spicy remix additions. First up, 'Erebus' provides us with a hellish landscape of alarm-like LFO pulses and gritty reesey tones, layered over super-punchy drum crunches. Following this, more lethal synthesis is unleashed as 'Terror' runs riot, amid a constantly shifting soundscape of crunchy drum slaps and dubwise delays. Both the remixes add their own seasoning to the full meal, with the break-heavy rethink of 'Erebus' from Quirk giving us an impactful addition, alongside the high energy outputs we hear throughout Dystinkt's carnival ready re-roll of 'Terror'. Awesome work!

Review: Next up from the team over at DMWSOUND, we see them get real busy, unveiling the first edition of their brand new compilation series 'Dmwsound Presents'. This selection is a fantastic pinpointer to where dubstep currently sits as a whole in 2021. The spectrum for this one covers a super wide range, with the likes of Panix firstly supplying the system ready goods on 'Peppermint', followed by the old school LFO action of 'Overthrow' from Ranking Dan and the spicy subs of Teffa's 'The Chase'. From here we dive into a much more minimal display from Inner Echo on 'Nuff Dollars', before Breez displays some tectonic plate-shifting sub horn punches on 'BrassGas' and Tik&Borrow deliver a creeping roller by the name of 'Microbeam'. Finally, Bisweed's 'Directions' sits ready to put the subs through their paces, before rounding off on 'Angel Dust', a slower explosion of rhythmic perfection from Tribal Dubs. What a collection this is!

Review: The most exciting thing we know about Tik&Borrow as a production duo is that we genuinely never know what we are going to get next from them, with their production palette at this point being too wide to tell. This latest five tracker on SimplyDeep however is a perfect look into their dubstep roots, kicking off with this grizzly bass grips of the title track 'Torn', followed closely by the distant pluck delays of 'Guitar Dub' and super electronic synth punches of 'Bogus'. From here we dive into the remix corner, with Imanzi firstly arriving with a wavy, synth-led rethink of 'Guitar Dub', followed by grimey overhaul of 'Bogus' for good measure!

Review: The boys at In:flux Audio are back at it again, this time unleashing a wicked link up EP between label founders: Tik&Borrow and the more recently acquired sounds of 1Point5. We begin with the breakbeat-stepper fusion of 'Thunder Dub', a futuristic electronic masterclass, jam packed with interesting rhythmic expressions and fluttering metallic melodies. Next, 'Dirty Sean' continues along a similar vibe with more raucous breakbeat action, focussing on a less intrusive but no less potent bassline below. As well as this, J.Kong gives 'Thunder Dub' a complete overhaul, sending in an army of LFO's to wonk out the dance in style!

Review: Following on from a very impressive run of drops from the Dirty Beats team, we see them welcome in the sounds of Tik&Borrow, a production duo who continue to impress across whatever genre they find themselves inhabiting. This project kicks off with the title track 'Umans', which fuses together squelching, swamp-like bass sounds with alien atmospherics to deliver a subby punch from the off, followed by incredibly grizzly synthesizer slides of 'Bruk' and twisted aquatic rhythms of 'Forms'. Finally, Ramsez steps up for a glitchy rework of 'Umans', somehow giving the track an even more haunted feel that before!

Review: Next up from the magnificent In:flux Audio gang we see a return to the label from founders: Tik&Borrow, who deliver a potent four track dubstep punch by the name 'Architecture'. We begin with a sizzling collaboration alongside Aztek as 'Timelapse' unleashes a barrage of gnarly LFO grinds and eerie feedback climbs, before 'Apexx' pulls together subby bass slap with sizzling drum techniques and shifting rhythms. Next, 'Mallet Dub' provides with more minimal magnificence, combining massive snare smashes with a simple yet effective sub-line, before Mungk arrives just in time to deliver an aquatic refit of 'Apexx'. Wonderful stuff!

Review: It's an awesome time to be a part of the In:flux Audio camp as they here touch down to celebrate their 50th official release, which they do with some serious dubstep style. We kick off with a track entitled 'Arcsine', a moony, choppy roller, driven by gritty bass design and haunted pad textures, before the robotic stutters and sharp grooves of 'Listen' roll into play. We finish up the originals with the chiseled bass stabs and well placed vocal stamps of 'Tangarine', before RUFUS! And Cartridge touch down for some excellent remix additions! Tasty stuff as per from the In:flux camp!

Review: In:flux are a record label we will always find time for at Junodownload, especially if they are able to keep up this fantastically consistent run we find them on currently. We are very pleased to see label founders Tik&Borrow return home for the first time in what feels like forever for a wavy new project, kick starting with the reesey shuffles and gnarly dubstep infused sound design of the title track 'Angel'. This is closely followed by evil tastings and almost metallic synthesizer runs of 'Arkham', before we jump into two very tasty remixes. Both Ali McK & IYZ and Aztek rework the title track, with the first being a grizzly roller, the second being a more sublow inspired recreation, focussing on soft drums and eerie atmospherics.
