Review: On the fourth instalment of the Sticky Leaks compilation, UK label Sticky Ground delivers a diverse range of styles. There's the noisy, stepping rhythm of AgainstMe's "Cool Move", while Ali Reza and Deep Dimension's contributions see them both drop straighter but equally visceral, noisy bangers. Ramping up the intensity levels, Ectoplasm's "Let's Break" is a frenetic break beat affair, underpinned by churning sub-bass and Good Room's "Midweek Deeds" ventures into gabba territory for a frenetic, white knuckle ride. The beauty of this series is the range it covers, and in contrast to these styles, b.mod draws on dub influences to conjure up the cavernous "Pace Faker" and Leafeater drops the irresistible acid of "Parties Unknown".
