Review: Possibly one of the most misleading names in the game... The only thing erroneous about Master Error is his alias. This man is on point and has been for some years now. This EP is a perfect case in point: a generous grot fest that shoots more lasers and has more muscle than the US army. Highlights include the sassy soul of 'Don't Want You', the walloping set-opener 'Breakthrough', the already massive 'Lakota' (with Toxinate) and the brute force 'Raw Flavour'. Bonus points for such a misleading title, too. Master Error isn't just breaking through, he's an established part of the new generation! Masterful.

Review: Gradient maintain their benchmark-setting pace, energy and creativity with the latest instalment of their 'Momentum' collection featuring an all-star cast of family members and founders. The message is clear from the off as Filthy Habits 'Street Scum' gets slappy with its energy and technoid aesthetic and L3MMY DUBZ adds to the intensity and fever with the totally twisted 'Punch Line'. Other stand-out cuts that demand attention include the Gradient bosses Metal Work and Amplify getting sleazy and hazy on 'Nothing To Say' and Toxinate's super grizzled and switchy 'Ride Of Die'. 'Owe You' sees him linking with singer Marge for a haunted emotional workout that's both heavy with its lasers and off-beat bass bubbles but also laced with dark soul thanks to the vocals and. For something a little more classic sounding but still crisp and edged with that hybrid jump up sound get your ears on the grotty funk-up 'Drop It'. You owe your ears a listen to this.

Review: Toxinate is back, using his force to compel you to punch someone in the face and chuck your drink with an EP that doesn't hold back. Its not the kindest on the ears but then again, its not supposed to be, it's a statement of hard-hitting sounds and murderous tones. These tracks are underpinned by delicate yet heavy drum work and percussive clarity, but the action happens in the steadily melodic but still raucous basslines, monstrosities of dancefloor proportions. 'Space' especially, which is full of, you guessed it, space, as Toxinate leaves plenty of room the frequencies to foment. This new one from the Biological Beat crew isn't something you'll forget quickly.

Review: Fresh from a whole slew of savagery on Young Guns and Bio Beats, Yung Toxinate lays the smack down on Cave with three naughty naughty numbers. Review: Toxinate and Young Guns - two names that you should've heard of if you're into your jump up - have teamed up for a naughty collection of tunes that will strike a chord with anyone who's been tapped into the jump-up resurgence these past couple of years. With a diverse range of sounds within the jump-up canopy, Serial Killer is an EP on a mission, a mission statement if you will. The title track has a wicked set of snapping, rolling drums that underpin a gargling amalgamation of sounds, textures and tones - this is proper stuff. The rest of the release continues on that same trajectory and man, it's sick.
