Review: Its remix galore over at Mutant Species Records, seeing Trauma DBC & Mc Boogieman's awesome 'Greazy' original reworked into seven serious creations. We begin with the sub heavy murmurs and choppy drums of the Filthy Habits remix, followed by Beat Merchants delivering a wonky synth-driven rethink and Il Dynamics pulling the sub-heavy pressure on the following overhaul. Damageman then steps up to steer the original in a much more gnarly direction with growling synths and lethal subs, with Conrad Subs then taking it back to old school reesey recreations and Jaxx's follow up rework focussing choppy sub textures with a serious kick. Finally, Tomoyoshi gives us a crunchy, drum-driven rethink, taking things to an entirely new plateau and rounding off this awesome collection in style.

'Brock Wild' sets the scene with raw tension and danger while the next three tracks list some of the greatest things in life... 'Chips & Curry Sauce' fills us up with plenty of carbs for the winter, 'Draw' has us smoking the night away with its skippy junglistic breaks while 'Garlic & Onion' gives us the flavour base we all need in life over a sizzling high voltage bassline. This one is by none other than Trauma DBC (Audio Danger/Hustlin Beats) featuring the lyrical skills of Boogieman, who together bring the pressure on "King Of The Block" and its serious riddims, followed by the fierce stepper "Gold Teeth Lion" - again delivering a massive bass line.

Review: Damageman's Sub Heavy hits the big twenty with this supersized V/A EP from some of the label's nearest, dearest and ruffest of friends. The main man takes the lead with 'Tell You Something', a gently dubby stepper laced with sultry vox and wormy subs. He's backed all the way by the likes of Conrad Subs with the fittingly titled face-ripper 'Hefty One', J.O.E gets his skank on with the bulldozer funk-up 'Likkle Yout Man', DJ Direkt strips things right back to the bare grizzly bones on 'Untitled' while Trauma DBC closes down the EP with a full-on deadly 'Lazer' fight. Beam us up!

Review: Following big boy bangers on the likes of Audio Danger, Hustlin Beats and Train Recordings, Cambridge's Trauma DBC makes his debut on Sub Heavy Audio with two furious fast lane flexers. 'Millions Of Miles' starts the engine with a buzzsaw bassline and a squelched out bass groove before 'Journey' brings us back home again with an early 2000s sound that's basically the audio equivalent of Trauma using us as a mop to wipe his filthy floor.
