Tuccillo

Starting in Naples in the early nineties with productions for legendary labels like the Italian UMM, and for more than 20 years, Tuccillo has been an integral part of the winding paths of electronic music.
He evolved step by step with new influences but firm in his way of producing and in his support for vinyl and its classic sound.
Over the years, both analog and digital instruments have been incorporated into his studio.
Driven by a timeless sense of sound and flawless production, as part of his sonic imprint, he prefers to mix manually on an analog mixer and modulate sounds directly from the hardware or create his beats using old akais samplers.
Starting from Ibiza, Tuccillo has taken his sound and sessions to the most outstanding clubs in the world.
He began his first venture as a record label founder in 2013 launching Unblock Records.

Together with close friends they embarked on creating their first vinyl. Since then, collaborations and remixes from artists such as Djebali, Dj Sneak, Robert Dietz, Tomoki Tamura, Shaun Reeves and Satoshi Tomiie have been added.
This same year together with Tomoki Tamura, they create an alias for a collaboration entitled "Doublet" which will be the name that will launch the vinyl series.
Currently Tuccillo has resumed his passion for the "Chill out balearic" sound. Since his arrival in Ibiza in 2000, thanks to this genre, his productions have undergone collaborations with legends such as José Padilla. Together with another pioneer from Ibiza, Dj Pippi in 2016 they launched the label "Modern Manners"
In this project Tuccillo also adds more collaborations such as Modonostro with the vocalist Danielle Moore of Crazy P. and Mr. Few. or also under the aliases Tuccinelli and FewLab.
At the beginning of 2020 Tuccillo created ”Electrobalearic”, the simple idea of mixing two genres such as electro and Balearic beat is clear.
In the summer of 2021 he launched his personal project “House of Tucci, where he took up his favorite game, the pure and deep house sound of the 90s.
Through the years Tuccillo has proven to be a constant and consistent creator.
His passion for searching for new sounds is tireless and it is difficult to define him with a single musical genre.

Talk To Me - (6:33) 125 BPM
Attention - (5:57) 125 BPM
Magari - (7:47) 121 BPM Hot
Review: Giuseppe Tuccillo enjoyed a fruitful 2023, with his solo outings on Nu Groove, Melodeum and Kaoz Theory being amongst his greatest releases to date. For his first missive of 2024, the long-serving Italian producer pops up on his own House of Tucci label with a predictably impressive three-track offering. Tuccillo begins with 'Talk To Me', a kind of ultra-deep, rubbery and bass-heavy fusion of hypnotic mid-90s NYC house and early '90s Italo-house, before unfurling the bustling, hard-to-pigeonhole, Afro-cosmic-goes-house elasticity of 'Attention'. It's genuinely inventive and infectious, as is closing cut 'Magari', where Tuccillo wraps deep, filtered synth sounds, airy vocal snippets and tactile electronic motifs around a boogie-influenced drum track.

Crazy P Curate Volume Four
Ray Mang - "Osea Island" - (6:45) 117 BPM Hot
Tigerbalm & Joy Tyson - "Cosmic Union" - (4:55) 114 BPM
Ruf Dug - "Vape Quarter Rhythm" - (5:23) 125 BPM
Tuccillo - "Siroco" - (6:18) 116 BPM
Review: If you thought the first 'Crazy P Curates' compilations was a wild ride, hold on tight because this one is a rollercoaster through the sonic cosmos. 20/20 Vision Recordings continues to deliver musical treasures, and this fourth volume is a testament to the Notts scene stalwarts' commitment to championing tunes that make you move and groove. Kicking off this sonic escapade is the Scandi-disco maestro Ray Mang, weaving his magic with lush cosmic melodies and nu-disco beats that are so loose-limbed, they could moonwalk on their own. Funk alert: this is not your average trip through the cosmos; it's a funkadelic joyride through the galaxy. Next up, Tigerbalm takes us on a detour to a tropical oasis with "Cosmic Union" featuring the enchanting vocals of Joy Tyson. Afro rhythms and steamy vocals bring the heat. Ruf Dug joins the sonic expedition with "Vape Quarter Rhythm," a mind-bending blend of proto-house and dreamy Italo bliss-out. Closing out this auditory voyage is Ibiza's Tuccillo with "Siroco," a signature Balearic gem that's as carefree as cocktails by the sea at sundown. It's the kind of track that makes you want to kick off your shoes, feel the sand between your toes, and let the music carry you away on a sea breeze. The love affair between 20/20 Vision and Crazy P is like a cosmic dance, and this fourth installment is a testament to their enduring relationship.

Around Five - (7:51) 124 BPM
Review: Five slices of deep house here from Italian veteran Tuccillo. 'The Waves' itself kicks things off with a nagging bass throb, various chopped-up vocal snips and hats galore, before things take a turn for the mellower with the fine old school chords of 'Breaking Leds'. 'Apple Eyes' stays in this deeper furrow and is built for eyes-down small-hours groovin', while 'Good Vibration' is a tad struttier and funkier - providing the perfect lead-up to 'Around Five', which packs some seriously dark, heavy bass. All five are plenty playable but 'Breaking Leds' nudges it for this writer, with 'Around Five' taking the silver.
