Review: Flux Pavilion and Turin Brakes - that's up with Skrillex and The Doors and Boys Noize and Snoop Dogg but boy does it hit the sweet spot. Vocal, emotive but weighty, this is both acts pushing themselves. The remixes follow suit; TrollPhace gets busy on the drums for a while before his sheet metal bass signature joins the party a little later than usual, LA don JayKode brings some furious theatre to the mix, SUBHuman injects the blend with a little 150 breakbeat magic, Fransis Derelle is all about the dreamy wave aesthetic, M35 provide the hands-in-the-air moment with a big Bobby Tank style filtered dream hook and Orkid closes the show on a future bass flex. Six versions, each one tickling a different side to the dance, Circus aren't messing around here.
