Highlights can be found on every reboot in the collection but extra marks go to Damage Report for all those trippy 8bit details on 'ZX Spectrum', the raw energy of L0G1N's take on 'People's Republic Of Shrubland' and Jenks' absolutely firing take on 'Pedigree Slum'. Review: Grubs up! Twisted Individual's cooked up a feast of undead delights for the first Zombie Recordings V/A collection and everyone's invited. Chewy, spicy and full of gully victuals, across the collection we're treated to all range of flavours; the peppery aftertaste of Filthy Habits & Jeopardize's "Mind Transfer", the fruity funk bursts of Imaginary Friends' "Rooftop Jam", the gamey aroma and meaty chugs of Yatuza & Nick The Lot's "Mystic Ways" and the sweet and sour textures of Alex SLK's "Kluture" are just some of the many highlights on the menu. Gunfinger-licking good!

Review: Now entering its 20th year of gully manoeuvres, Grid Recordings unleash another set of remixes of the bossman's tracks through the ages. First up Jayline gets out his stick and whacks "Last Days Of Rome" within inches of its life with a big high voltage bassline, Grid regular Nick The Lot flips "Danger Zone" into a much crunchier, rasping affair and Argentinian newcomer Yatuza adds whole new levels of trippiness to "Edge Of The Dome". Last but not least Matt View and Marvel Cinema go right back to 2003, grab Pony Pleasure by the scruff of its neck and give it a good scrub with cosmic soap. Nice and bubbly.

Review: Grid Recordings have been on an absolute tear the past year or so, with everything that comes through their doors sounding slick and firmly on the pulse of D&B in 2019. This time around it's a compilation featuring some of their most reliable producers, who, characteristically, have come through in a big way. Jayline & Macpherson's 'Look & Listen' is a spacious, atmospheric creeper than packs a serious punch, one that emerges through a soundscape of celestial tones. Nick The Lot definitely has one of the standout tunes with 'This Planet', keeping up the space theme and also keeping up the trend of twisting, expansive basslines that ripple with energy - proper roller this. KY's 'Dreams' is in the same vein and even more futuristic and techy, which shows that Grid can do things in all styles. Head Nodders indeed.

Review: Grid Recordings are a wicked small label that regularly pump out singles from the likes of T>I and Shield, all of which tend to sit in that rough vein of jump-up influenced sounds. This time around its courtesy of Twisted Individual, who's coming at you with a seriously unique and creative double-sided number. This applies especially to title track 'Forbidden Fish', which has a seriously original set of fluttering, featherweight synths that both float above the range and inject it with weight and energy. The flip is grouchier, moodier and more rooted in roughness not abstraction, all of which makes for a solid B-side to a wicked A-side.

Review: Mr Twisted returns with two more instant party-rippers on his ever-shreddy Grid imprint. "Phlegmtrail" bounces with three or four basslines wriggling and worming between each other. Instant funk in every twist and turn, there's a pungent air of 2004 about this snotty grotty number, in the best way possible. "Pedigree Slum" takes us deeper down into Twisted's psyche with a much rougher, denser bassline that's not dissimilar to an Original Sin texture but with much wilder drums. Naughty.

Review: Fire in the hole! Twisted Individual continues his return to the top of gully mountain with this collection of re-rubs of early-mid-2000s classics. Taking the lead himself with a rasping, gurgling take on his sweary, lairy "F Word", he sets the scene for the remix ruckus that follows... Damage Report will have you spitting your lls and your ffs with his riff-celebrating twist on 2002's classic "Wales", the omnipotent T>I adds a yummy swing and zest mouthfeel to one of Twisted Individual's trippiest delicate creations of all time "Swan Cake" while DJ Limited busts up a bloodclart or two with his subtle sharpening of "Galloping Elephant". Total version disturbance.

Review: Twisted Individual, of Grid Recordings fame, continues in his quest to conquer the world of D&B via rampaging jump up anthems with another couple of dancefloor killers. Whomping bass and belching subs are order of the day in title track "Touching Cloth", with its grinding rhythm, crunchy drums and jingling SFX, it'll be a hit with the Heist and Playaz crew for sure. Then Tyke gets his hands on "Throbbing Gristle" and provides a powerful remix; dramatic synths at the ready, this one rumbles along with buckets of attitude, rolling drums and raunchy bass. One for the late night soldiers.

Review: That cheeky chappy, Twisted Individual lets rip with a seriously heavy remix package in this, the second instalment of the Lets Twist Again series. Getting straight down to business with the Crystal Clear Moshpit remix of "Heavy Metal", there's no breathing space before "Galloping Elephant" looms large on the horizon. Mutated Forms adds oodles of subterranean bass causing the tune to shuffle along majestically. The Northern Lights remix of "Acid Rain" is up next, with plenty of pH 3 pizzazz, vitriolic synth splashes and driving breaks. It's proper dancefloor business here, as we conclude the EP with the mighty Taxman's re-rub of "Nail Bomb". Big bad drum rolls lead into a tumultuous drop with ticking breaks, glitchy warps and bleeps.
