Review: Previously spotted on Med School, Russian chillwizard Unquote unleashes his second album on Abstasension. Dropping the tempo for most of this body of work, there's a lot more emphasis on the big emotional washes that lap over you and arrest your imagination. The Burial style muffled two-steps of "Address Unknown", the Moderatisms of "Black Rain" the stretched synths and churchy connotations of "Unfinished Origami"... Everything about Unquote's album suggests a really interesting and complex maturing of sound and delivery. Ideal for headphones and hedonism alike.
