Review: Since we tipped him for big things a couple of years back, Estonian producer Urmet K has delivered a string of fine releases for Nurvous and King Street Sounds. Here his fine run of form continues via a tasty two-tracker on Swedish Brandy productions. "Choo Choo Train" offers a near perfect balance between driving, percussive dancefloor deep house and expansive, jazz-inspired musicality. It contains some wonderful touches - hazy, Middle Eastern style vocals and mazy trumpet lines - but it's the rolling sweatiness of the groove that hits home hardest. Arguably even better is "Filthy Funk", a similarly percussive bumper that makes great use of Afrobeat style guitar licks, bouncy pianos and sludgy filter effects.

One Of Us (instrumental mix) - (6:40) 120 BPM
Review: Ana Estonian in London, Urmet has been makin' waves since his musical arrival just a few short years ago. Here, on "One Of Us", he's going for the commercial jugular - teaming up with the silken voiced Lady Linn who delivers smooth, emotional vocals over his cast-iron deep electro-house. There are also two remixes if you're after something clubbier - the skippy, cocktail bar prog-house version by Claus Casper & Jean Philips and the superior, gentle and intricate rework by Dana Berquist.
