Showcasing their talented roster and flare for consistency, they launch us into bass hyperspace with the extreme grit of Karetus's aptly named "Loudness War" and bring us back down to earth with Direct Input's woozily beautiful "Fire Dub". In between the well picked opener and finale you'll find Kwerk's slap bass odyssey "Switch That Bass", Farace & Trevor Rockwell's snarling slice of futuristic hip-hop "Feel That Ammunition" and a Silent H remix of "Turkish Policeman" that's so intense this review took five hours to write because we kept having to have a little lie down!

Review: Over the past decade, French label Tigersushi has crafted a niche as purveyors of devilishly decadent electronic music, much of it cutting edge. This neat round-up of 2011 releases shows that they've lost none of their edge, offering up a collection that veers from dewy-eyed Balearica (from label boss Joakim) to droning new wave pop (DyE's "Fantasy"). There's plenty of fine dancefloor tackle on show, too, from the wide-eyed deep electro-disco of Crack Boy's "House Of Ill Pain" and white knuckle Italo of Krikor's House of Geomotry re-edit, to the bubbling vintage synth wizardy of "Oscillate", a storming collaboration between Deadstock 33s and fast-rising Brit Stopmakingme.
