Review: It appears that the Ghetto Dub Recordings team has assembled one hell of a roster for this one as they unleash the fully unmixed version of the Dubz: ReRubbed album project, allowing us to enjoy each and every tune in its full majesty. We find the perfect balance of high intensity dancefloor danger and more stripped back rollers throughout the compilation, from the Phibes remix of Wrecked from Vinyl Junkie & Sanxion giving us a gritty, synth lead smackdown to the much more junglist inspired recreation of Java's 'Screwface' from Aries. There are a few standouts throughout this eclectic selection, including Epicentre's monstrous sub-driven rework of 'We Up There' from Bill & Ed, alongside Veak's neurotic overhaul of Subcriminal's 'Mack 10' and the system rattling recreation of Flat T's 'Proceedings Closed' from Durban. What a selection this is!

Review: Killaz by name, killer by nature; Vital Elements and Tobie Scopes' continue to set the agenda as DJs, artists and as label owners. This third annual mix-up is certainly no exception as they plough through 59 tracks - many of which are brand new exclusives - to paint a picture of exactly where drum & bass is at right now. A thick smelly melting pot, everything is thrown into the mix: Upgrade's spine-trembling harmonics on "The Voice", ruded-out bassline badness from Voltage ("My DJ"), various jump-up hybrid creepers from Russian newcomer Ozma, brand new dark wobble lava from Serial Killaz themselves ("Rudebwoyz") the list goes on and on. This is a huge package and it comes with a superb mix too. Treat yourselves or defeat yourselves.

Review: Rub-a-dub-dub, a bunch of producers in the tub, none of them are clean because they're all making proper stinkers for Ghetto Dub. And these are a handful of examples. As the label unleashes the parts to some of its many key recent releases to four exciting talents. Man-of-the-moment Sikka takes the lead with a crucial tear-up of Vinyl Junkie & SR's "Peace Pipe" while Ly Da Buddah adds a whole new twist to Rachel EC's "All Rudeboys & Rudegirls" with an immense chainsaw bassline that cuts right through the mix. Elsewhere we get tremendously woozy and wonky with DJ Gaw's remix of Bill & Ed's "These Streets" before Dublic closes the show with an absolutely savage junglised slap-down of "Paradise Lost". Rerub? Rewind more like!

Fresh from the stashes of SR, Kumarachi, Aries, Vinyl Junkie, Conrad Subs, Octo Pi and many more on-point junglists across the generations, many of these tracks are brand new and all of them are heavier than a night down the Weight Watchers. Highlights include Conrad Sub's skanky groaner "Good As Gold", Jaguar Paw's utter filth session "Southside", Jay Aftermath's gnarly tech/soundsystem hybrid "The Jungle" and the pure rave purrs of Vinyl Junkie & Sanxion's "Outlandish"... Review: Switch! Asbo rev up the remix engine with this killer trio of versions. First up is Jinx who goes back to 2013 and VIPs up one of his earliest Asbo releases "This Goes Out". Smoothing out the original's bouncy charm for something a bit heavier and sub soaked, it's less of a VIP and more of a complete rebuild. Elsewhere Subcriminal adds some searing bass lasers and a hip slinking wiggle to Vinyl Junkie & Sanxion's sweet reggae skanking "That Girl" before DJ Westy finalises with another 2013 flexback as he lets DJ Choppah get his blades out on his ever toasty "Natty Dread". Wheel up...

Review: Bristol badsmith Vinyl Junkie lets loose on Ghetto Dubs with four of his best pals. The results speak for themselves; "Mind Games" sees him tagging in with Ikon B with some powerful soaring, roaring drone bass licks, "Come Rudeboy" (with Sound Shifter) is a lesson in breakbeat ruffage while "Paradise Lost" (with long time collaborator Rachael E.C) is all about the spring bass that coils itself tightly around the slithering drum arrangement. Finally Adam Mercy joins the party for a darker slab of drum funk laced with rippled detuned synth shadows. As you'd expect from Ghetto Dub it's another smoking "Joints" series.

Review: Choices: You can do this the easy way or "The Hardway Vol 6". Pick the former and your life is simple but kinda unfulfilling. Pick the latter and you're rewarded three killer jungle jams from everyone's favourite antisocialists. Jinx gives Durban's remix of Savvanah a complete rinsing, Vinyl Junkie, Rachael EC and Boomah's "Fade Away" is the sound of a beautiful sunrise at 172BPM while Choppah cuts us down a peg or seven with the super-skank slammer "Tuff Sound". Hard times call for hard ways.

"Fade Away" sees him teaming up with Bristol's Rachael E.C at the controls and David Boomah on the mic. As always, David is the star of the show with his distinctive dulcets spreading wise vibes throughout the skank-packed roller. Looking for something a little darker? Look no further than his Sanxion co-piloted stepper "Rolling Ice Cubes". With a heavy twist of 95 in the mix, there's some real head-bending science going on here.

Coming on strong in a similar way to Darrison, Bushman elevates with instant soul and authentic reggae dynamics throughout. Review: Longstanding Bristol breaks brand Warehouse Wax rediscover the 2014 sounds of "Poison Me". With Maria Milewska's vocals adding a soaring, emotional touch, it taps into a groove that will sit happily in both breaks and D&B sets. Remixers include Galvatron (fidgety acid), Madcap (Ray Keith style subby jungle) and Lucas (rolling drum & bass that wouldn't go amiss in a Bukem set). Review: A varied cast of remixers take on Austin and Vinyl Junkie's "Can't Go Back", with the original sharing Prodigy-like beats and percussion with an '80s synth pop euphoria. Sanxion look to heavy dub step in their remake, while Cottonmouth is on a similar tip also. Maximum Baxter creeps in elements of Baile Funk with his version, while Dom Almond looks to peak time Euro dance as his inspiration. Strange Rollers cap of the EP with a remix that incorporates a shuffling grooves and hints of drum and bass while washing Rachel Wallace's vocals in heavy reverb.
