Review: More unique goodness from the Spanish soul boy Wardian, as "Super Fresh Step" lives up to its name. So fresh, in fact, there are many comparisons to be made here. Slick, bouncy and highly creative, it's a kindly reminder of breakbeat's original 'melting pot' attraction. "Adea" is similarly distinctive; very '80s in its design, the whole groove is super-charged with juicy slap bass, slow-moaning hoover tones and orchestral sweeps the likes of which wouldn't go amiss in a Ridley Scott flick. Stunning.

Review: A fine blast of hard funky breakbeat from upcoming Spanish producer Wardian. "Maximal" packs in a rollercoaster ride of crisp beats, driving bleepy synths and plenty of exciting breakdowns. It's a prime-time banger that's sure to work both in clubs or just being blared out of your speakers at home. "Hardwhere" succeeds in fusing a little dubstep into the mix - adding some nicely aggressive wobble-synths while keeping the beats upbeat and pacey. After only a few releases, Wardian's showing off some serious skills.
