Review: This is a double debut, being both the first release from the Bodytonic Music label (a new venture from the acclaimed misfits behind Dublin's Bodytonic parties) and deep house/electronic garage duo White Collar Boy. Predictably, it's a solid start, with deep and atmospheric opener "Suuu" being particularly revelatory (think soft-focus melodies, prominent cymbals and dreamy vocals). The EP's other original track, "Tide", is decidedly rougher, wonkier and more electronic, delivering raw thrills for open-minded hedonists. The two accompanying remixes of "Suuu" are pretty tasty too, with Frank B's deep and dubby version just edging out Simon Bird's fluid downtempo offering.
