Review: Wild Kid's first release in over a year; the guy known as Ryan Glassman to his Mum serves up a record designed to provide space and peace where there is none, exploring themes of catharsis and music as religious alternative. This is New York City imprint 48k's inaugural release and if this is an indication they're on to big things. The body bashing and bass driven techno of "Myra" has a very Bristol feel to it and will appeal to fans of Tectonic while "Bb" gets some broken beats and funky polyrhythms happening while the bass rolls deep. All four tracks then come as a continuous mix.
