André Gardeja
had started his early DJ career in 1992 performing at Berlin’s legendary house club ‘Walfisch’, today known as the world famous ‘Sage Club’. In 1997 to extend the popularity of the well established ‘Studio B’ brand, André founded a record store, was well named ‘Studio B’. Which attracted DJs from all over the world, who were aware about his unique
selection of rare releases and pumping vinyl.
The popularity got intensified thru the fortifying reputation of the DJ Andre Gardeja, who became an undisputed hero and got dominating in the Europaen club scene while playing in all major metropolises and summer festivals. Influenced by house, techno and minimal, it would be difficult to put his music into any category, but his sets always have both feets on the dancefloor.
The next important step in André’s career took place in 2001, he became the co-founder of the record-store and -label ‘Freizeitglauben”, as well as putting up an event series. Running these platforms and connecting different artists, event organisers and party crowd for now more than 10 years, André Gardeja developed himself and his name to an essential mastermind of the European House and Techno scene.
Unforgotten are his shows at MELT & FUSION Festival in Germany, PLOCK Festival in Poland, SONAR Festival in switzerland and CAMEL CIRCLE Events in Spain. The list of friends and DJs he performed with is endless, but a few like Jennifer Cardini, Ricardo Villalobos, Acid Maria, Ata & Heiko, MSO, The Mole, Zip and Thomas Melchior need to be
highlighted. The most popular locations Andre Gardeja is continuously playing are, in Berlin amongst others: Tresor, Maria, Arena Club, Berghain, Renate, and Bar 25.
Since 2006 André is producing his own tracks. Besides others he released on international labels like BLAQ REC from Mexico or was published on ENOUGH! from Berlin.
