Dan Havers and Chris Page met, bonded and raved together while studying at Edinburgh University.
Indulging their love of electronic bedlam, the pair quickly began making tunes of their own. Roadtesting them at raves they hosted themselves, DC Breaks was born.
Since then, the duo have taken their sound around the globe, remixing the likes of Lana Del Rey, Tinie Tempah, Seinabo Sey, Lady Gaga, and Paloma Faith in the process.
The duo had completed official remixes for major-label pop artists including Paloma Faith and the Wanted, increasing their mainstream visibility. Singles continued on RAM in 2015, the duo's more pop-oriented, vocal-driven singles, including "Breathe" and "If This Is Love," were co-released by RAM and Virgin EMI.
New cut 'Breathe' takes the pair back to their roots. Featuring Dave Gibson, it's a breaks-laden roller that comes allied to a faint trace of melancholy.
