DJ Spookz’ heavyweight UK Bass vibe is the sound of record shops, dirty underground venues and 4am sessions in the studio. Combining the freshest of upfront rhythms with a classic rave sensibility, this Slough-born, Essex-based artist has put out hyped releases on the mighty Four40 records, Tumble Audio, Saucy Records and hugely respected grime imprint No Hats No Hoods.
Spookz’ productions have picked up support from major players in the underground dance scene such as Marcus Nasty, Diplo, Jackmaster, Jaguar Skills and Bok Bok, plus many more. A regular face in UK nightclubs and featured artist in DJ Magazine, he also runs his own highly-rated imprint, Low Pitched Records.
DJ Spookz is now taking his sound out across Europe and beyond as the world catches on to the pioneering sound of low end pressure this most elastic of producers has played such a major role in creating.
