John Karagiannis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. In order to follow his love for music, he now resides in Berlin, a mecca for electronic musicians in the world today. John's life has so far been completely devoted to techno music..he is a purist and a visionary. Among his peers he is known not only for his critical ear but also for his abundant enthusiasm and non-stop efforts to bring fellow Greek and other European producers into the techno limelight. In Greece he produced several dance music radio shows for a number of radio stations. He also established one of the biggest techno labels in Greece, Techhead recordings. Techhead Recordings includes a special vinyl series, TechHead Redmixes and sub-labels, TechHead Digitized and TechHead Toolbox. Since then he has done several A&R’s for numerous labels such as Amaze Me records, Harmonic Distortion, and Eighty Eight Recordings. After 2005 he began releasing his own vinyl productions. These include his debut release on Kazoo Records followed a short time after by a release on Techhead. With his close friend and studio partner PayLipService, he took on numerous projects. Combining forces they have evolved into one a cutting-edge live show that exudes darkness and intensity.. a true spectacle ahead of its time. As a live act John and PayLipService have something to offer festivals and clubs that is completely new and fresh...special attire, extraordinarily unique tracks and unheard of team work behind on stage. Together they continue to release hit after hit, on labels such as Naked Luch, Remain ,Soul Access, Subcult, Relatives, Techment, Audionautica, Kazoo, TCP, and Techhead and its sub-labels.
