Review: Now this is a tasty box of treats indeed as the Wake & Bake crew unload a seriously tidy two-tracker for us all to enjoy as Qwirk unveils a mega-groovy display. We open up with the tottering sub-bass manoeuvres of 'Jazzda Miata', a sultry swing through bumping bass grooves and steadily chopping drum expressions, giving us a truly unique journey through the weird and wonderful. On the flip to this, 'Trouble' pulls together a thumping combo of distant LFO twitches and moody drumlines, giving us a very alternative B-side feel but also rounding off the EP with a dash of the unexpected.

Review: Poland-born Radikal Guru is a past master at blending the grizzled, bassbin-bothering sounds of dubstep with deep dub and soulful roots influences. As a result, his releases have an easy accessibility and effortlessly breezy vibe that's almost impossible to dislike. This second full length (his first dropped in 2011) offers more of the same, delivering a mix of dubwise steppers ("Spaced Out", "Different Dub", "Indra"), delay and echo-drenched dancefloor dubscapes ("Subconscious", "Outernational"), and sweet, conscious, roots-influenced songs ("Stay Calm", featuring YT, and the superb Echo Ranks hook-up "Warning!"). It's a blend that guarantees a pleasing, laidback listen.

Review: Polish premier league dubster RG takes us on one of his best version excursions to date. The YT-fronted "Stay Calm" is one of the many highlights from his second album Subconscious and here it comes complete with three brand new reflexes: the "Digitalizer Dub" is a straight up digi-dub instrumental twist, "Sound System" sees him teaming up with Irish don Cian Finn once again for a raw, club-focused repurpose while El Fata adds a softer, more soulful vocal polish that's not dissimilar to that of Horace Andy.

Review: Fresh off a string of very cool releases, we are pleased to be welcoming back Dubstep royalty in Radikal Guru, who teams up with Moonshine Recordings for a a very punchy project indeed. The title track 'Tell Dem Fi Run', is an electronic dub monster, driven by oldschool, moogy triplet bass stabs and haunting organ melodies, topped of course with a very high energy vocal performance. This one also comes with two official remixes, the first being a future dub infused Steppa Remix, the second being a full dub version, making this a must have for any reggae enthusiast.

Review: What a moment this is, as we dive head first into four absolute classics from the innovative dubstep enforcer known as Raikal Guru. We begin our journey through history on this one with a look at the wide LFO stretches and explosive arrangements of 'Conspiracy', before landing on 'Strong Dub', a super melodic groove ride encapsulating everything Radikal Guru's sound is all about. Review: Four years on since his last LP, Moonshine Recordings spearhead Radikal Guru returns with this Beyond The Borders album! Packing collaborations with the likes of Marina P, India's Lady Skavia, fellow Moonshine artist Baptiste to Vale and Lion Posse Soundsystem Tenor Youthman, a solo-wise Guru sends in a sweetly devilish instrumental in "Melody Dub" - that goes lengths to collide the sounds of Crystal Castles with something you might expect from Mala - next to some resonating skittering riddims in "Ready Fi War". 'We are all refugees' sing the lyrics of the title-track amidst suggestive themes of jungle warfare and funky drummer breaks alongside the industrial-tinges of a jazz-laced "Riddim 1". With further collaborations coming from vocals talents like Junior Dread in the slowed-down dub-wisdom of "Together We Shall Overcome" to the freewheeling spoken word of Troy Berkley in "Higher Frequency", Radikal Guru adds yet more heavy weight digital dub to a new soundsystem culture that's ready and waiting.

Review: A cheeky teaser from Radikal Guru's forthcoming album, "Warning" is a kindly reminder of how respectful dubstep can be to the roots when it's in the right hands. Echo Ranks plays the consummate Eek-A-Mouse with his emphatic scat-style delivery and conscious lyrics while Polish Guru polishes up some of the warmest tubular bass you've heard all month. In classic Moonshine form, both remixes accentuate different aspects of the track with bona fide clarity; Violinbwoy constructs a stark steppy arrangement while Dubkasm goes for a deeper, authentic dub version, all spaced out and riddled with mesmerising studio techniques. Each cut a smouldering example of contemporary dub. You have officially been warned.

Review: Ireland isn't the first place you'd think of when it comes to sturdy soundsystem dub flavours, but Cian Finn is quickly changing this perception with some deep, driving conscious mic craft. It's clear his years as front man for Irish festival faves Intinn have paid off as we're treated to a series of versions, each one paying attention to a different aspect of dub. Highlights include the sonorous hollow tones of Radikal Guru's version of "Ireland Dub" and the raw stomp of Alpha Steppa's "9 Years Dub". Serious soundsystem material!

Review: Polish dubwise alert again on Moonshine Recordings via Radikal Guru and Italian reggae vocalist Marina Peloso; fresh off her recent collab with Mungo's Hi-Fi. It presents a second Radikal Guru release for Moonshine Recordings this year following the Radical 10", with this connection seeing Marina P bring her reggae singer-songwriter techniques applied to a head-nodding groove and metallic tinged melody and chorus passage. With a big version coming in via the "Righ Thing Riddim" instrumental, Do The RIght Thing is a true release for the soundboy / soundgirl selectah.

Review: It's always exciting to see new music from Radikal Guru hit the shelves. This release see's two classic works recreated in remix form none other than dubstep heavyweight DJ Madd and Melbourne's own bass maverick: Sekkleman. Madd steps up first with his gutter twist up of 'Back Off' featuring exhilarating vocals from the legendary Solo Banton. On the flip, Sekkleman builds an explosive steppers recreation of 'Raggamuffin Soldier', which of course features a lively vocal performance from Echo Ranks.

Review: When Wheel & Deal come to party, they don't come to play, as we see here on this violent new four track collection from Ramsez, one of the most rowdy new school dubstep masterminds out there. The introductory episode is the title track 'Jelly Belly', a gnarly squelch through system-busting sub squeezes and rolling drum work, followed by the more abstract rhythmic jitters and unpredictable bass slides of 'Digital Drip'. The intensity then moves up another level as 'BoomBox' combines nostalgic breaksy action with system-wrecking bass manoeuvres and dissonant piano stabs, before the purring sub synths and marching drum work of 'Quattro Rhythm' bring us to a tidy close.

Review: Next up from the Basskruit team we see them unveil this powerful new five track display, welcoming the sounds of Ramsez inside to do what we does best. We kick off with a real dungeon-ready thud as 'Yehh' unleashes shivering bassline manoeuvres and windy backdrops, before the wonky rhythms and alarm-like bass stabs of 'Smell Of Freedom' give us a bit of a twist. Next, 'Those Who Are Seen Dancing' deploys a collection of super unpredictable percussive genius above a powerful sublime, closely followed by the emotive string pads and powerful subs and incredible melodic designs of 'No Question' which sits as a clear highlight. We finish our journey with 'Urban Sunset', a super glitchy roller, putting the final sprinkles on an excellent selection.

Review: Navy Cut are back with another heated release here as they invite in the sounds of Ramsez for three original creations, each more potent than the last. We begin with the demonic bass drags and super crispy drum production of the title track 'Big Boi', packed with explosive flavour from top to bottom. Next, the warbling, swampish tones of 'Swinger Club' arrive on the scene, packing a real wobbly punch, before we finish up the EP with a look at the shuffling hi hats and grizzly bass patterns of 'Talk Crime'. This one was a pleasure to listen through for sure.

Review: Silent Motion have gone out of their way to deliver us an absolute gem with this one as we hear Ramsez deliver a spicy array of newschool dubstep heaters. We begin with 'Hexagons', a worthy title track doused in liquidized LFO warbles and potent drum pushes, giving us a lively lift off. Next, Roklem & Sebalo give the track a heavyweight overhaul, dripping in their unique bass designs before moving onto the lethal drum skips and gnarly 808 drones of 'Moodswingz' which throws the EP into a completely different avenue. Finally, DayZero arrives to give 'Mood' a tasty lick of paint, focussing on otherworldly style synth slides and a generally alien set of textures to give us a tidy closer.
