Review: Hot on the heels of Phil:osophy's latest treasure trove comes another bounty of bliss from Artificial Intelligence's Integral. This time with old friends Zero T and longstanding vocalist Steo. "Can't Hide" is pure soul heaven; delicate layers of Steo's harmonies arranged softly over a spacious beat and lilting pianos, it's T and Steo at their most evocative and feel-heavy. "Make Time" kicks with more urgency as techno-like synths stab hypnotically, balanced by Steo's falsettos and gently rising instrumentation. Elsewhere the unstoppable Monty gives their evergreen 2016 soul-out "Too Close To See" a bittersweet twist. There's no hiding from this one.

Review: Cosmic delights! Two friends of Jazzsticks Zero Gravity and Syncline return to Paul SG's label with this very tasty doublet. 'Skydive' has a lovely early 2000s vibe with that brilliant bassline insistency hammering away beneath the twinkling elements. 'Jupiter Lounge' brings more jazz into the mix thanks some juicy bass guitar feels, lavish chords and swinging beats. Naturally, it's a hefty launch release: "Zion" is straight out of 1993, all head-twisted amens, crazy-sharp edits and evocative dub vocals. "Bad Bwoy Talk" brings us back to the future on a sleazy bubbly halftime roll and full badman chats from YT and Solo Banton. A full jungle history lesson in two tunes; few artists do it like Digital.

Review: Established in 2017, Exeter's The Skank Bank provides you with the highest quality sounds from artists soon to blow up. This one comes from Toronto by-way-of Buenos Aires drum and bass producer Yatuza, who has had promising releases on Sub-liminal, Murky Digital and Weapons Of Choice in recent times. He teams up here with the enigmatic Sequences for the seething subterranean neurofunk of "Shattered", the darkside steppa "Optiv" which is reminiscent of classic Virus or No U-Turn, and closing it out with the evil sci-fi beats of "Heads".

Review: It's been a while since Xtrah last treated us to a Cyberfunk bounty but boy has he made up for lost time with this all-star cast. Phace, Ulterior Motive, Stealth and the X man himself are all in one the action as they demolish and rebuild label smashes from the past. Phace adds a little space funk tech wiggle to Xtrah & Mefjus's supercharged "Fever", Ulterior Motive strip back Simple Technique's "Cold Steppin" to its rumbling, pranged out bare bones, Xtrah tears Phentix and Signal with a rising technoid twist while Stealth takes "Operator" to some strange dark-funk places. Serious remix business.
