Review: Forever bringing forth new talents, DJ Hybrid's Deep In The Jungle proudly introduces [IVY] with these two exceptional breakbeat workouts. Both laced with soul, emotion and musicality - but not afraid to slap you silly when the time is right - 'Moving' takes a bouncy, upbeat approach with springy garagey keys and housey / old school vocals (while kicking arse on the drops) and 'Take It' is a bit more mischievous and darker in its intent but still laced with a sensual, urgent vocal that gives it a really sexy twist. Tip top behaviour.
Review: Ransaked return with two straight-up throat cutters from the rising styles of Alex SLK. Previously spotted on the likes of Pick N Mix, Grid, Sub-liminal and Zombie (to name a few labels), once again the UK talent builds on his grimy, greasy dark funk signature. 'Brute Force' is a glitchy, twisted heads-down charge into the dance with no stopping or slowing down while 'The Architect' reveals more brutalist behaviours by way of a fiery bassline and demonic vocal textures. The force is strong on this one.
An expertly crafted selection of expansive breakbeats, gnarly basslines, inspiring synths and top shelf FX that will slice and carve their way through your latest productions with ease
