Big Four Five (140 VIP mix) - (4:06) 140 BPM Hot
All For You - (3:13) 140 BPM
Area Code - (2:48) 150 BPM
Played by: DJ Hybrid, DARK MOON
Review: The legendary DJ Hybrid is back in business with another top quality collection, unloading four garage-inspired bumpers on this brand new EP. The title track 'Flex Ya Chest' takes centre stage from the off, exploring old school garage vocal overlays and hard hitting sublines to kick the EP off in serious style. Next, a 140 VIP mix of 'Big Four Five', utilising a hard hitting vocal line atop a bed of quivering LFO lines and choppy drum textures, before the super smooth sub notation of 'All For You' gives us another thunderous display in close pursuit. Finally, 'Area Code' ups the pace significantly with a dancefloor-ready rumbler, focussing on fidgeting synth lines and smooth pads to give us a slightly alternative closer.

Visages & Monty - "The Most" (feat Killa P - original mix) - (3:31) 140 BPM
Played by: Harley D, Exile
Review: Whenever we see the 1985 Music banner sailing into port, we know we are in for a good time, especially when it carries goods of the level of these from VIsages, who continues to impress with another killer 4 track drop. We open up with the title track 'Dol Guldur', a gnarly fusion of metallic bass tones, neurotic drums and spiced up vocals, followed by Snowy's high energy vocal performance on 'Evidently', a serious grimey throwback. Next, the more ethereal vocal slides and mind-melting synth pads of 'Panacea' flip the themes of the EP right on their head, with a killer vocal appearance from Killa P on 'The Most' giving us the final dash of juice to round this EP off in serious style.

Swang - (4:43) 140 BPM
El Affair - (4:39) 140 BPM
Shitfire - (4:33) 140 BPM
Review: As always, the Deep, Dark & Dangerous crew are out in full force with this latest drop, welcoming the ever-ready sounds of Isded inside for four swampy stompers, destined to set dances alight in the murkiest of settings. We open up with the haunted LFO slams of 'Dig It', a super potent roller that leads us nicely into the hypnotic sub designs of the title track 'Swang', setting the tone nicely across the first half of the EP. from here, thing get even more minimal as the creeping melodies and clunky percussive pips of 'El Affair' give us another smokey backdrop to admire, before the hyper-wonky synth work of 'Shitfire' closes off the EP with a blast. Another collection of heaters for the DD&D crew.

Hollow - (4:08) 140 BPM Hot
Insurgent - (4:13) 140 BPM
Behind The Sun - (3:54) 140 BPM
Review: Perfect NL once again proves to be a top notch home for the one and only TMSV, who touches down with a face melting collection of 140 wobblers. We open up with the glitchy backdrops and constantly evolving sublines of 'Antagonist', a highly atmospheric journey through dungeon-like 140 themes to kick the project off in real style. Next, a more traditional marcher named 'Hollow', focussing on gritty LFO sweeps, followed by the moody sub switch ups and more stripped back rhythms of 'Insurgent'. We then jump into 'Behind The Sun' a glittering twist of mesmerising soundscaping that closes off the project with real finesse.

Alix Perez & Ebb - "Hazchem" (original mix) - (4:28) 140 BPM
Review: Once again, the legendary skill sets of Alix Perez are on show for all to see, with this sizzling new collection of 140 rollers looking like another monumental collection from 1985 Music. First up, Psychosis gives us a swampy stomp through gnarly bass drones and bone-chilling atmospheric excitations, followed by Flowdan's killer appearance on 'Militia', a more abstract tweak fest across metallic reverberations and hard hitting, poetic lyricism. Next, glittering synth work gives us more rumbling goodness on 'Circadian', which sees Visages join the party, before Ebb lands of 'Hazchem' for one final smokey spike of original stepper flavour. Top stuff all around

Up The Place - (4:29) 80 BPM
Cesco & Hamdi - "Swing King" - (4:29) 140 BPM
Review: The 1985 team have consistently delivered a top notch array of both neurotic D&B flavours and lethal dubstep collections, with this latest offering from Cesco being another great addition to their 140 arm. First up, 'GITP', is an anthemic opener, taking a super catchy vocal line and layering it with silky synthetic magic, before Bidl joins the party on 'Overdue', a behemoth-like bounce through gnarly reeses and fragrant low ends. Next, a more juke-inspired switch up as 'Up The Place' unloads high energy drum rolls and more vocal slices, before Hamdi touches down for a ferocious collaboration in 'Swing King', a final bulbous barge to close things off in style.

Review: For us, there is no denying that N-Type's legendary Wheel & Deal imprint has become one of the true benchmarks for quality within dubstep, celebrating their 100th official release with a face melting compilation. Featuring an array of top class guests, including Solidstates & Riko Dan, Roklem & Sebalo, Sepia, Lost, Grawinkel and more, this jumps straight into the top dubstep drops of the year category for us. With so many heavy hitting originals featured across this 22 track landscape, it's hard to pick our highlights, but the sumptuous sub & drift work of Kampah's 'Ryder' and the system-smashing bass notation of 'Chained' from Azotix would be the two immediate front runners. Congratulations to N Type and all involved on such an awesome achievement.

Pilo - "XIVA" - (4:16) 135 BPM
Review: Long live team Alpha Pup, an excellently organised project that have moved onto the third edition of their epic '20/20' compilation series, exploring the most lethal reaches of underground bass music. Featuring hard hitting originals from the likes of Ivy Lab, Dismantle, Rocks FOE, Bakey and more, it's clear that the team have gone all out on this collection, with sounds ranging as wide as the hardcore inspired mysticism of 'Naananaana' from Rohaan, to the industrial techno-flavours of Ila Brugal's 'Cynical'. The whole project packs a punch, but our highlights would have to include both the intense metallic madness of Deft's 'OKURTHEEXPERT', alongside Manni Dee's monstrous 'Wet Slide' creation. Top work all around!

Featuring a vibrant collection of 10 brain-busting reworks, we see some of the label's most popular tracks given a lick of 2024 paint, with heavyweights such as ENiGMA Dubz, Leo Cap, Wraz., Grawinkel, and more returning in style. The whole project packs as much punch as one could want across ten tracks, with the clear standout remixes including Mikrodot's nostalgia-inducing ruckus in 'Sun God VIP', next to the system-buckling bass slams of 'Amunjica VIP' from RWB. Review: Duploc continues its high-impact run of releases with this brand new compilation drop entitled 'XLPHX', welcoming six of its regular hard-hitters inside to again deliver naught but heavyweight energy. We open up with the scuttling, metallic synthesiser squeezes of Hypho arriving on 'Left Lung', closely followed by the combined bass mastery of Wraz. & Substance on the grizzly soundscapes of 'Minotaur'. Next, Subculture unleashes the creeping, super-eerie arrangements of 'Camelot', with the more percussively-driven rhythms of Criso's 'Bout This' in hot pursuit. Finally, the gnarly horn & bass combinations of Morning High's 'Talk Is Cheap' original closes the project out in style, again showcasing just why Duploc are on top of the dubstep tree.

Review: Sneaker Social Club unveils Ivy Lab's latest offering deepening the duo's evolution from their drum and bass roots. Comprised of Gove Kidao and Jon Fogel, this Mild EP, born from a purposeful break in 2023 to experiment freely in the studio, presents a potent mix of jungle and drum and bass influences, intertwined with footwork elements and Ivy Lab's unique sound design. Tracks like "Look Away" and "N.V.T 01" showcase their knack for combining rugged bass weight with innovative production techniques, while "Kik Bak" delivers an acutely angled, pitched-up rap attack to further galvanise their radical sound.

Review: The White Peach banner has long been recognized as a home to all things abstract and sonically outrageous, with this latest helping on mind-melting goodness coming to us from the one and only MOREOFUS. First up, it's time to batten down the hatches as the explosive synth work of 'Likesss' gives us a seriously sizzly introduction, followed by the jittering synth squeezes and widening delays of 'Outcasts'. Review: Sixth in the series, This Is Dubstep is one of the more comprehensive, on-point series the scene has given us (ie: many!) Across the 40 tracks every single shade is covered; from rave-tinged (Noisia's remix of "Smack My Bitch Up") to all-out technicolour bass (Drumsound & Bassline Smith), This Is Dubstep 2013 pays respect to all corners of the dance - including the really far-out experimentations of Mala and his Cuban project. With exclusives such as V.I.V.E.K's "Barcelona" and Killawatt's "Single Entity" thrown in for good measure, this isn't just a summary of today's dubstep; it's a slice of the future too.

Review: To celebrate their consistently growing empire, the team over at Artikal Music UK have unveiled this awesome new collection for their loyal fans to enjoy, sourcing 14 original steppers rollers from some of the best in the dubstep game. We are immediately gifted a wickedly wide range of steppers originals, from the warm sub work of Mystic State's 'Ever Further Dub', to the more party-driven drums of 'Tribal Alien' from Legion and the squelching sub squeezes of MYTHM's 'Dead City'. This is an LP that truly celebrates how varied and unique dubstep music can be, with our standouts including the super-clean sub work of 'Vanquisher' from head-honcho J:Kenzo, next to the sweetly syncopated drums and haunted harmonies of Cimm's 'Deep Red'. What a collection this is!

Review: If we were to rate project this in terms of consistency, it's a match made in heaven as the ever-ready Mr.K links up with one of 140's most prominent and respected label imprints: White Peach. This one kicks off with the swampy LFO movements and glittering drum dances of 'Red Handed' before the haunted atmospheric design and busy high percussion of 'Okoustik' quickly follows. Next, the sublime sub designs of 'Aro' run through like a steam train, making all in their path move, before the fluttering flute arrangements and heavily syncopated drum shuffles of 'So Vague' sees the project out with a bang.

Review: It's always exciting to see a new drop from the White Peach crew, a label in the 140 space that has continued to innovate and showcase the best new dubstep and grime talent. This time around, Kali kicks off this new drop with the wonky melodic slams and minimal drum textures of 'Scurvy', before 'Sober' brings some nostalgic glitchy goodness to the table. From here, more oldy-worldy melodies as the eerie sonic twitches of 'Stripey T-Shirt' float into view, with the more purple inspired soundscapes and super choppy drum designs of 'Cop Something' then bringing the project to a very tidy closer.

Review: Foundation Audio have once again emerged with an absolute firecracker of release on their hands here, welcoming the enigmatic production wizardry of Teffa to the table with four gorgeous stepping originals. Opening up with the glitchy synth work and crunchy drum arrangements of the title track 'EOZ', the bar is set very high from the jump, being closely followed by 'Come In And Do Not Be Shy', a much swampier affair, jam-packed with bulbous bass action. From here, the hard hitting percussive punches and more subtle LFO action of 'G Wagon' roll into play, before the more 2-step inspired grooves and warbling bass notation of 'Flash' closes us off in style.

Review: Dark, militant dubstep coming sraight out of Renaissance city Florence , and we would say that Ago seems to be at the top of the Dubstep food chain. The producer returns to InnaMind Recordings with a swarm of fully-fledged dread-out fire; the bass weight is very much in place alongside the rest of their heartical bliss. "Why Won't You", the lead tune, literally steps its way through the rhythm with big power drums and echoing FX tricks, while "Flashin'" alludes to the breaks format thanks to some devious percussion work, and "Zero Shift" takes care of the sub bass fix with those huge, meandering slabs of low hertz for those looking for their bass massage. Come and get it!

We open up with the heavily arpeggiated synthesiser lines and intense 4x4 drum slaps of 'Red Scarf', followed by a switch up in pacing as the more footwork inspired arrangements of 'Still On A Mission' give us a new combination to enjoy. From here, 'A Little Deeper' focusses on dripping percussion and hardcore low ended drum roles, followed by the spacey chord progressions and moody subs of the title track 'Midnight Marauder'.

We open up in a slightly softer zone as 'Girl From Twin Cities' gives us a smokey soundscape, dripping in beautiful pad designs and subtle arpeggios, before lethal LFO grinds are unleashed on 'Ember'. Old School (original mix) - (3:30) 85 BPM
Review: Marking a new era for DNO Records, PLLFRY introduces the Overexciting EP, a five-track release brimming with raucous halftime beats and collaborations with vocalists NST and Genoveva. Thriving on iron-clad percussion and a blend of mangled sonic futurism, yet it consistently centred around a powerful, unfiltered bass presence - tracks like "Demolition" and "Collapse Of The System" live up to their names, delivering destructive basslines and chaotic beats that shatter the norm. The title track showcases a nuanced contrast, with a serpent-like bassline, ethereal vocals from Genoveva, and intricate hi-hats. "Water Fire" takes the intensity further with an undulating low-end, metallic melodies, and a slippery vocal contribution from NST. The bonus track "Old School" pays homage to hip-hop's golden age, infusing a boom bap beat with machine glitches and acid pellets. DNO knows.

Review: Next up on LDH, a shimmering nod to the more stripped back side of 140 & dubstep flavour as Slimy Ape touches down with a shimmering display of synthetic wonder across these chilling three originals. The title track 'Northern Winter' sets the tone perfectly, with icey LFO manoeuvres and minimal drum lines giving us a fabulous introduction. From here, a dive into deeper, gritter LFO expressions as 'Warehouse Rocker' gives us a pulsing crunch of original dubstep flavour, before the subtle dubwise chords and more system-inspired bass notation of 'Sound The Alarm' closes the EP off with a more old school feel. A very enjoyable selection!

Review: If you don't understand why Dubmatix has been named 'Canada's dread at the controls' by none other than Don Letts, just look at the list of vocalists on board this project... Eek A Mouse, Horace Andy, Tenor Fly, U-Roy and Cornell Campbell. Did someone just say 'legends'? Naturally, the beats back up the headline name-dropping. Stretching from the rugged dubsteppery of "Black Market War Dub" to the more classical, dub positivity of tracks like "Free Up" and "She's In Love", this is a comprehensive picture of dub's many shades AND a great calling card for Canada's 'dread at the controls'.

Review: Next up from the team over at Rubi, a very tasty catch indeed as they welcome the frankly outstanding production pallet of Skeptical inside for a full course delight. We open up with a sumptuous starter in "Tell Me", an emotive, atmospheric drift through bulbous subby backdrops, eerie vocal displays and steadily progressing chord lines, setting the tone perfectly. We then switch things up significantly for our main course as "Tapestry" focusses on subtle LFO's and grinding melodic drills for a more march-driven adventure. To close, a mind-melting fusion of stripped back drum processing and crunchy percussive additions on "Atomic", giving a delicate-yet-delightful closer to this masterful three track display.

Review: As always with the now infamous 1985 Music imprint, they have assembled the great and good to explore the darker realms of electronic dance music, primarily focussing on dubstep and neurotic drum and bass flavour through this fabulous new 'Atlas' compilation. The names involved are pretty mind-blowing with a roster including the likes of Alix Perez, Drone, Headland, Foreign Concept, Safire, DRS and many more heavyweight names. The entire project has a touch of finesse and musical class about it, from the beautifully processed drum clanks of 'Nibiru' from Visages to the stunning vocal processing of 'Do Me No Good' from Nymfo. There really isn't a low point to this project with the sweeping soundscapes and electronic destruction of Deft's 'Scars' original being a real high point for us!

Review: It's always a good day when we see new music landing from the legendary 1985 Music team, who continue to push some of the most exciting and experimental electronic sounds out there right now. This latest four track collection kicks off with founder and sonic mastermind: Alix Perez unleashing a bulbous display of gnarly steppers energy on 'VTRN', jam-packed with sliding LFO's and intricate drum designs, followed by the stuttered rhythms and delicately designed percussive layers of 'Shush' from HIJINX, which also packs a seriously bassy punch to match. The don Ebb then touches down with another chilling creation in 'Ill Rest', maneuvering horrorcore soundscapes and luminescent bass sweeps, before the sizzling reesey tones and clunky drum work of Epoch's 'Beastmode' round the EP off with some serious finesse. Exceptional work as per!

Review: Few producers have carved out a production signature as twisted and unique as Monty, and the Toulouse-based artist is back on his home imprint of 1985 with another absolute percy of an EP. It's just as diverse as the others, and F4DE moves from jagged dancefloor rollers through to dubstep destruction and deep, distinct liquid sounds. The title tune smacks of previous conquest 'Quest', and its hugely complex array of interlocked sounds ooze sophistication in a manner that's befitting its clubland persona. 'Righteous' is a monster of a 140 track and you can smell the blood from the off, as a foreboding introduction leads you down the path of no return, straight into the belly of the beast. More minimal force follows on 'SVP' feat. Icicle, before two liquid cuts round off the lineup; we especially love the deliberate, purposeful bassline of 'Whatever You Need'. Sensational.

Review: So at this point in time, it's hard to imagine Alix Perez making a stale tune, as he lands here on the wonderful 1985 music for another twisted collection of heaters. We kick this one off with a look at the spooky overtones and warbling synthesizer growls of 'Ravana', before the shivering LFO designs and glitchy melodic plucks of 'Lifeline' stutter into play. Next, 'Post-Mortem' arrives with more lethal reese bass action driving the stripped back drumwork forward in a blaze of system energy, before rounding off with the catchy arpeggiator flexes of 'Ends' alongside Headland. Review: It's always an exciting thing to witness a new 1985 bombshell land in the store, with this monstrous four track display from some of the most vibrant names in 140 being no exception to that. First up, the blobby warbles and siren-like synthesiser melodies of Ebb's 'Corrosive Soul' arrive with a major bag of oomph, giving us a swampy swinger to kick off proceedings. Next, label maestro Aliex Perez unleashes a sub-heavy warbler in 'Pulsate', pushing any speakerbox to it's low end limit, before Headland re-ignites the party flavour with the slower paced glitchy gulps of 'Guillotine' for a major sonic switch up. Finally, Samba gets busy with a gnarly piece of gristle as 'Six To Six' lets fly a gnarly combination of synths and drum slaps, rounding off the project with a weighty finish.

Across eight tracks of genuine sonic wizardry, we explore the deepest and darkest realms of electronic sound design, from the murky synthesiser players of both 'Mirage' Parts 1 & 2, alongside the earth-shattering sub squelches of 'Shuriken' and mind-numbing rhythmic approach of '1024'. It's a truly wondrous collection, pushing the boundaries of sound design to entirely new realms, with our highlights including the uniquely designed flutters of 'Coco', the gut punching subs of 'Elk's Point', the unique rhythmic jolts of 'Hellion' and of course 'The Grove' in all of it's breathy beauty.

Review: We are absolutely loving the direction that the legendary Alix Perez has been taking recently, driving his uniquely techy production style into the dubstep scene with fantastic results. This latest project on 1985 music is the perfect showcase of just how good it can be, kicking off with the eerie atmospheric sweeps and gnarly bass excursions of the title track 'Last Rites'. Next, the engulfing subs and classic vocal fx sampling of 'Deep Six' burst onto the scene before the stripped back bass tones and impactful reverberations of 'Spooked' touch down. The project is rounded off with a dive into 'Melodrama', a track teetering with emotive energy and rolling sub tones, driven by it's unique, Burial-like lead vocal line.

Review: When you see both The Bug & Ninja Tune involved in a release these days, there is an instant expectation of greatness, due to both their catalogues and history as musical entities. Therefore, this brand new album from The Bug entitled 'Fire' has a lot to live up to. Right from the off we can see that The Bug has taken the project in entirely his own direction, firstly by recruiting some of the most popular MC's to grace grime over the last decade, including FFSWhyThough?, Irah, Manga St Hilaire & more, displaying their unique vocal talents over the industrial introspective sound design behind them. It's safe to say that The Bug is in his own unique lane when it comes to sonic creativity, from the raucous, rapidfire drum punches of 'Hammer' alongside Flowdan, to the explosive reverberations of 'Clash' alongside Logan. There is a truly individual approach to this album, going no holds barred in exploring distortion and dissonant harmony with some incredible results, our favourites of which include the treacherous twists 'War', featuring the 'Nazamba', alongside two masterful poetic pieces with Roger Robinson, who recites a couple of awesome verses on both 'The Missing' and 'The Fourth Day'. This is definitely one you need to let yourself explore over time, allowing your ears the process the carnage in their own way.

Review: And so the remix rampage continues... Noisia hit the fourth volume of their 'Resonance' collection with an allstar cast of talents ranging from established pioneers like Futurebound and Audio to younger trailblazers like Ternion Sound and MISSIN. As you'd expect, the vibes hit thick and fast as each remixer brings their best game. Highlights include Gyrofield's haunting, near-medieval twist on 'Banshee', Forbidden Society returning to the collection with a smouldering, swaggering roller, Burr Oak's turbulent happy-slapping tech tear-up of 'Stigma' and MACHINEN's industrial strength take on 'Hand Gestures'. All this and so much more, Noisia manage to whip up world beating albums even after they've split up.

Review: The Vision Recordings crew have once again unearthed a weighty box of gems with this new three tracker, seeing the combined powers of both Machinedrum & Holly for a dive into steppers abandon. We open up with the crunchy synth warbles and unorthodox vocal work of 'Novaform', a truly unique arrangement that packs both a subby gut punch and a midrange hook to match. Next, 'Blueshift' strips the instrumentation back a tad for a more fluttery original, focussing on emotive melodies and clicky percussion, before the sounds of 'Hide Sun' arrive for one final showdown, delivering a choppy, jungle-inspired slammer, doused in euphoric pad textures and tidy sampling for a killer final slap. Awesome work

Review: Two stone cold Coki/DMZ classics from the golden 2007s. The rapid flow of Vybz Kartel's "Emergency" is given full focus as Coki lays down subtle rolling snares and an icy leads with enough space for the Kartel's strong characters. Coki's famous shake-up of Mavado, meanwhile, is known to all; far-away bass groans, ricochet snares and elements so cosmic they still sound futuristic almost 10 years later. Never officially released digitally before now, grab a two walloping slices of history today.

Review: To start the year off with a bang the Deep Dark & Dangerous crew have pulled out all the stops with this latest drop, welcoming the enigmatic production mastery of Hypho inside for a sizzling six track showdown. The Manchester veteran firstly launches 'Access Denied', a crunchy steppers delight, unleashing tidy drum processing and hard hitting bass action, before Rakjay arrives with a typically tidy vocal addition of 'That Vibration', a swampy slap that will turn any dance to a ruckus. Next, Donnie Danko jumps aboard for the haunted backdrops and lethal low-ends of 'Voodoo Ish', with the bubbling melodic jolts and subtle subby warbles of 'Dingle Bat' following in close pursuit. To round off, two more heavyweight hitters, with the wonky marches and dubby delays of 'Wrong Turn' leading the way before Megumi arrives on 'The End' for a sumptuous soundscape display, giving us a look into Hypho's more emotional side for a signature send off.

Review: It's been a hot minute since BBK made a collective appearance, so when we saw that Frisco had gathered the troops for a long awaited collaborative return, we couldn't be more excited. Produced by Trooh Hippi, we hear the grime veterans let loose with a barrage of mainstage lyricism and intricate grime flows over a selection of eastern flute action and pounding sub structures below. It's always good to hear Frisco lead the way as well, who for us is one of the UK's most undersung vocal talents. It's a fantastic new single to reintroduce themselves to the world in 2020.

Review: As always with a brand new Deep Dark & Dangerous compilation drop, the team are on absolute fire as they summon the great and good of the dubstep scene together for a frankly outstanding original collection. Celebrating their 100th official release, they impressed with the team sheet from the jump, inviting the likes of Truth, Youngsta, NType, Hypho, Cartridge, Oxossi and a bag of more heavyweight headliners to match. The whole project is stacked, featuring 24 rave-inspired sizzlers, giving us the grittiest and gnarliest of what dubstep has to offer in 2022. For us, despite the overall quality level of this collection being so high, we would point out a few absolute monsters as our highlights, with the horn-driven clunks and warbling LFO switches of 'Mecha' from The Widdler & ColtCuts immediately jumping out, next to the dungeon-ready percussion of Roklem & Sebalo's 'Inner Turmoil' and the eerie melodic mastery of Leon Switch & Widow's 'Fallen Angels'.

Review: Ahead of the massive Architects Volume 1 album, featuring some of Artikal's most innovative creators, bossman Kenzo drops his first original since last year's jungle damagers on ThirtyOne. "Cross Polarity" sees an endlessly shifting bassline slipping and sliding between evolving drum patterns before diving naked into a deep pool of ageless elements that's deeper than a late night whiskey with Hawkin. A taste of things to come and a reminder of why J:Kenzo is an absolute monster at the controls.

Review: The Artikal team have unearthed a worldy here as Leo Cap arrives in sizzling fashion, bringing us a multi-genre fusion of dancefloor delights. We open up with 'I Feel Good', a fragrant title track, linking together the intense rhythms of UKG with a hard hitting slap of grizzly bass notation, topped with choppy vocal expression, before 'Surround Me' lets loose a scintillating display of electrifying synthesiser sweeps. From here 'So Damn Beat' ups the heat even further as a stripped back drum set plays host to one of the angriest basslines we've heard in years, with the popping percussive melodies and skippy rhythmic textures of 'Free Your Mind' then giving us a cosy landing zone, rounding off this very impressive body of work in serious style.

Review: As ever with Artikal Music releases, we are in for an absolute treat on this one as they invite in the forward thinking sounds of Saule for three tracks of steppers bliss. We kick off this one with the title track 'Zeroes', a high pitched warbler, reminiscent of early Clue Kid heaters, followed up by the super deep sub tones and war like drum slaps of 'Baro', already giving the EP some seriously cool contrasting points. We then move into the eerie overtones and unpredictable drum punches of 'Pistola' which boasts yet more weighty sub movements, rounding up a tight body of work.
