Review: Once again, the legendary skill sets of Alix Perez are on show for all to see, with this sizzling new collection of 140 rollers looking like another monumental collection from 1985 Music. First up, Psychosis gives us a swampy stomp through gnarly bass drones and bone-chilling atmospheric excitations, followed by Flowdan's killer appearance on 'Militia', a more abstract tweak fest across metallic reverberations and hard hitting, poetic lyricism. Next, glittering synth work gives us more rumbling goodness on 'Circadian', which sees Visages join the party, before Ebb lands of 'Hazchem' for one final smokey spike of original stepper flavour. Top stuff all around

Review: This latest collection from the Locus Sound crew sees them welcome back the ever-ready production talents of Delta, a monumental figure who has gathered a number of his closest friends for this fiery four track slugfest. First up, 'HR Request' gives us eerie woodwind and percussive-heavy drums for a special rumbling roller, before the enigmatic synth slides of 'Spun', alongside Coza give us something completely different. Next, the crunching snare smashes and warbling LFO plots of 'Dudley Way' alongside Slimy Ape take the EP back to old school steppers roots, with Sentient's guest appearance on 'Doppler' then closing things off with a more minimal twist. Awesome work!

Review: The legendary DJ Hybrid is back in business with another top quality collection, unloading four garage-inspired bumpers on this brand new EP. The title track 'Flex Ya Chest' takes centre stage from the off, exploring old school garage vocal overlays and hard hitting sublines to kick the EP off in serious style. Next, a 140 VIP mix of 'Big Four Five', utilising a hard hitting vocal line atop a bed of quivering LFO lines and choppy drum textures, before the super smooth sub notation of 'All For You' gives us another thunderous display in close pursuit. Finally, 'Area Code' ups the pace significantly with a dancefloor-ready rumbler, focussing on fidgeting synth lines and smooth pads to give us a slightly alternative closer.

Review: Longtime friend of Worst Behavior, Doctor Jeep, drops the electrifying "Deep Red" EP, showcasing his signature versatility and collaborative spirit. This NYC-based producer, known for his dancefloor-igniting beats and genre-bending explorations, delivers a diverse sonic journey across four tracks. "Deep Red" kicks things off with the infectious title track, a collaboration with UK artist Grove. Grove's punk-infused energy and appreciation for soundsystem culture merge seamlessly with Doctor Jeep's production prowess, resulting in a head-turning banger. Further collaborations unfold with Australian producer Hedchef, known for his off-kilter club constructions. "I'm Rushing" blends breakbeat rave energy with a futuristic twist, guaranteed to keep bodies moving with its rolling grooves and wonky basslines. In "Hammerhead," Doctor Jeep pays homage to his Brazilian heritage by weaving Brazilian vocals with electro elements and a sparse, heavy beat reminiscent of club and grime influences. Next, Doctor Jeep delves into halftime territory with "Destroyer," a collaboration with Canadian producer Tamarak. The track builds slowly and deliberately, layering intricate techy breaks and percussion over a minimal soundscape. To close this EP, "Deep Red," receives a dubstep makeover courtesy of J:Kenzo. Review: Nothing but good, hard-hitting dubstep flavour to see here as the ever-ready Dominus makes an unexpected landing on Artikal Sound for four smokey original rollers. We open up with 'Exo', a synth-driven skulk through swampy bass drones and scuttling percussion, before 'Kindred' gives us a more spacious display of drum-driven soundscaping. Next, the heavyweight sub designs and system-style marches of 'Near Dark' up the ante even further, setting us up nicely for a powerful closer than arrives in 'True Love', a slower, more clanky stepper that gives us a nice touch of contrast as a thrilling finale.

Review: A very exciting link up is on display with this one as we see heavyweights across two genres combine, with Grime legend Footsie teaming up with Dubkasm for a vibrant dubwise display. We open up with the marching drumlines, heavyweight subs and system-ready bounces of 'Soundman Ting', setting the pace levels high before 'Bring The Hertz' sees us explore a much more reverberated soundscape of dizzying delays and tidy chord arrangements. Next, a harder hitting feel as the drums are beefed up a tad for 'Riddim No Schism', with the Iration Steppers rework of 'Vanguard Touchdown' arriving in style as a dubbed out remix finale. Awesome work.
