Review: &Friends' second salvo comes from Harry Parsons, a producer best known for his disco-fired edit work for the Birmingham-based Shadow City label. The original version of "Eden" is a decidedly celebratory affair, with Parsons playing around with piano and vocal loops from a rush-inducing, life-affirming disco smasher over a heavy house rhythm. The producer's use of filters and breakdowns to build energy is, naturally, also second to none. Theo Kottis provides the obligatory remix, serving up a piano-laden, filter- heavy disco-house workout that's almost as essential as Parsons' original version.
