Providing a stellar, consistent flow of releases that reads as a solid who’s who of the many strands of the multifaceted UK bass scene, the label have firmly cemented themselves as a go-to for up-and-coming and established artists alike. Over the years, they’ve released music from the likes of stalwarts Sly One, Bromley, Distro, Klient, Negativ and Majora, as well as supplying key, heavily-supported releases from heavyweights My Nu Leng, Notion, Hypho, Affiliate, Dread MC, Killa P, Kry Wolf and more. Aside from their stellar back catalogue, the 877 team have hosted memorable takeovers at Fabric, appeared on Rinse FM, Mixmag and DJ Mag, and topped the Juno Download charts with Notion & Young H’s Dread MC-featured ‘Money and Drugs’. To top it all off, the legendary Laurent Garnier selected two tracks from 877 to feature in the groundbreaking electronic music exhibition at the London Design Museum; another feather in the cap of the imprint.
