Review: Oh dear, it seems Chris Schweizer might have some self image issues! If the filthy, grunting, uncompromising "Reflections" really is the sonic version of what he sees in the mirror then he could really do with a compliment or two. Well here's one for you Mr Schwiezer: your tunes are banging! Following the sizzling, hair-raising grit of "Reflections" comes "Generation". Coated with just a dash more funk but still the butt-kicking uplift Armin's ASOT label is known for, it's yet another peak time shocker from Schweizer. Massive.

Review: Since his early releases on Alphabet City, and Platipus, Sweden's Airbase has continued to be one of the most consistent producers out there. His latest Armin endorsed smash for the ASOT flagship is a thing of real beauty. He combines a nicely rounded rolling bassline and sharp beats with a playful and expertly composed piano lead which trickles and builds transcending into a futuristic electric riff out of the break. His musicality is showcased to the max here, and those that were into 'Uppercut' will no doubt be blown away once again. Essential tune over the coming months.

It's mad electric lead line buzzes along the with the percussion and gradually rising synth and pads, the breakdown is a big hands in the air and spine tingle moment before twisting up for the raw electric power to come hurtling back in . Review: Sweden has long been a country famed for its dance music output, and while the majority fall under the house category, 25 year old Sebastian Brandt has flown the trance flag high. Having worked closely with Armada for many years, he I clearly a firm favorite of Armin's (creating the ASOT 450 anthem), and here makes a welcome return to the flagship label. Known for his soaring leads, and winning melodies the peak-time 'Paragon' takes off where 'Mana' and 'Ashes' left us. A standout tune over the past couple of months for Van Buuren and co. It's that classic pounding bass, uplifting riff combo which is sure to smash it.

Review: Australian producer Marlo is best known (and loved) for his unique uplifting and tech fusion, and his latest track 'Boom' is prime example of his blend of styles. Premiered on Armins A State of Trance radio show (and featured on the latest compilation) it has all the big room power that made last years 'The Island' such a global smash. The beats are punchy and the builds are almighty.. Just wait till you see the response when the breakdown is unleashed on the crowd. Review: When you reach the level of an international globe trotting DJ, it must take allot for any one country or city to really grab and inspire you. It seems Armada regular Alex MORPH has taken a shine to the hustle an bustle of the Big Apple, as this highlight from Armins ASOT 2013 compilation shows. It's classic MORPH melody work, with deeper elements bringing plenty of emotion yet tinkering layers building and bubbling to send euphoria levels sky high. The production is punchy and warm, ticking that hard to achieve box of "stadium sound". There is no doubt this one will do the damage!

Review: There aren't many out there in the trance world right now who do big room uplifting like Jorn Van Deynhoven, and his latest killer is one of his biggest yet, in the much anticipated 'Superfly' which you will have no doubt heard on Armins ASOT 2013 album and in all the recent global ASOT mega raves. The beats and bassline are nicely thumping and give the perfect back bone for the sheer energy and euphoria of the melodies to shine through in his trademark stadium sized proportions. Full of emotion and spine tingling goodness. One of our favourite productions from Jorn since the monster that was his 'RAMsterdam' remix.. You need to be on this one now!!

Review: Ok, so it has become all the rage for the mega events to put out an official "anthem" to mark the occasion and (hopefully) build hype. While many fall by the wayside, ASOT triumph. Quite fittingly for the goliath that is ASOT 600, Armin is joined by long standing label lynchpin Markus Schulz and the result is as mammoth and electrifying as the event is sure to be. The lead will send an instant overwhelming wave of happiness and euphoria to you and all around you, and subsequently wont leave your head for days.. This weeks (possibly months) essential tune.

Review: It has been yet another brilliant year for the Armada group of labels, and camp Armin start wrapping things up in fine form with this cracker of an uplifting gem from Airbase on the label that mirrors the main mans infamous radio show. Sweden's Jezper Soderlund returns to ASOT with an exquisitely produced track that is both full of emotion and dance-floor power, the depth of sound and crispness of the mix-down is pretty mind blowing, with each and every element bursting through the speaker. Review: We have been a big fan of Australia's (recently named number 2 DJ) MaRLo for many years, a man who has stuck to his unique style as others and fluttered in and out of "trends". His brand of tech trance sounds event fresher today, and 'Lightning' is prime example. The twisted electric lead is a tech trance fans dream, with plenty of pump coming from the electro bass-line and razor sharp beats. On the flip he drops yet another weapon with the monster riff smasher 'Dreams'. There is no point trying to pick between these two, they both need to be at the front of your wallet / top of playlist!!

Review: It makes perfect sense that Alex MORPHS biggest and best production of the past 12 months lands on the mighty A State Of Trance, after receiving instant praise and support from Armin Van Buuren and plenty of plays on the flagship radio show. This represents all that is great about the label, as he goes back to his pure uplifting routes for the blissful (and aptly titled) 'Eternal Flame'. Emotive melodies, and dreamy soaring melodies take center stage, making this one of our favourite tracks from his 'Prime Mover' album.

Review: There aren't many in the game with a discography as big (and impressive) as Matt Darey, a man behind countless anthems and still ruling dance-floors to this day. He continues a great run for A State Of Trance with two brand new uplifting gems which got instant props from the big boss Armin, with title track 'Believe In Me' going straight on 'UR 6'. It's a wonderful showcase of uplifting trance, letting the soaring melodies do the talking and bring the energy. Also well worth a play is the slightly tougher, tech edged 'Oblivion', which we feel will rock the floor even harder. Yet another mammoth release from Darey, how does he do it?

Review: With the man like Armin at the helm of both the A State of Trance label and radio show, it's rare for the output to be anything other than exceptional. His quality control is proven once again by the return of fast rising Moldavian producer Andrew Rayel. Two tracks on offer here, both full of energy and euphoria, with 'Exponential' just piping the post to be our favourite in both its peaktime form and a trancier Opera remix. 'Coriolis' is equally as melodically rich and emotive, albeit with a fiercer tech edge.. Don't get left behind!

Review: We have been seriously digging last few releases from our Dutch friends at Flamingo, and they impress yet again on this latest EP from an exciting new talent in Scintilla. Blurring the line between tech house and progressive, 'One Step' is a rocking 7 minutes of percussive intricacy that will get any floor warmed up and shaking whatever time of night. On the flip 'Charging' goes down a deeper route with lots of quirky twists and a relentless energy you wont be able to stand still to. A pair of wicked jacking tracks to get the party started.

Review: ASOTArmin favorite ECO returns to the flagship A State of Trance imprint for yet another fine double-header, both of which have been rocking stadiums worldwide over the past month. The on-form New Yorker opens with peak-time cash 'A Million Sounds, A Thousand Smiles', rich with melodies and with plenty of beef on the bottom end and beats, it builds like a skyscraper to an almighty break and equally dramatic drop. Following in a similar vein is 'Echoes' with its evolving electric lead and surrounding pads and atmospherics.. These two were made purely for the dancefloor!

Review: The Russians once again prove there is something in the vodka, as Michael Filimonov and Vyacheslav Romashkin join forces for this great double header, with both having been premiered on Armins 'A State of Trance 2012' compilation. 'Kinetic' leads the charge with its warm bottom end, pounding kick combined with tech fills, soaring synths and some seriously epic builds. Equally as mighty on the flip is 'Blossom' carrying much of the same qualities albeit with a more melody drive and emotive feel.. Cracking release, with both deserving front of wallet status.

Review: Australian based Marlo is one of those talents who has clearly worked at it in the scene, steadily rising the ranks. Championed by the likes of Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules he deservedly goes up a gear for this 3-track deal EP on Armins ASOT. His full bodied, big room bass drive sound is at the forefront of lead track 'Showgrounds', and in contrast goes darker on 'Silverback'. Our pick of the lot however, is the much more melodic and playful 'Underneath', with more musicality and set to ignite plenty of golden hands in the air moments.

Review: We are all well aware that trance is the form of EDM that allows for the most true musicality and classic routings, and Russian Alexander Popov leads the charge on this blessing. Review: Ibiza mega-venue Ushuaia made quite a mark on the scene last summer, and likewise on Armada duo Nash & Pepper as they pay homage here. One of the first tricks (and subsequently most in demand) to be lifted from the 2012 A State Of Trance compilation (aka the trance bible), The Belgium duo produce a wonderfully uplifting trancer carrying all the beauty of a Balearic summers day. On the flip, although by no means a B-side, they team up with Koen Mertens on the full-on filthy progger 'Panamarenko', that's just as worthy of a peaktime play. Mark Foyle is also on hand to provide a lighter alternative to 'Ushuaia Memories', warm, deep, and full of emotion. Big release, check it out!!

Review: There isn't any bigger stamp of approval in the trance game then being championed by Armin Van Buuren, so when he signs something to his own A State of Trance label, you kinda know its going to be killer. That is exactly the case here for the rocking new Denga & Manus Webifier remix of 'Stasis' by Vengeance. Full on pumping tech edged trance with the epic Original breakdown and lead riff in tact and then injected with more energy than the Duracell bunny. Featuring the captivating and simply quite stunning vocals of Sylvia Tosun, the Original is all about the breakdown, which couldn't be any more epic. With more than a nod to the golden era of big room trance, to rough it up he locks horns with Chris Ortega for a crunchier more raw mix which is guaranteed to smash it. Review: Lifted from his 'M(You)sic)' album, the closing track 'Over Paper Skies' features the stunning vocal tones of Jess Bennett, best known for her magical work on the sing-along classic 'Leaving London'. 'Hysteria' are a little lighter in delivery on their mix with a much rawer sound that marries perfectly with the vocal. Our pick of the lot is the 'Summer Mix' which sits just right in the middle of the other two. With his distinctive Eco synth and a finely polished sound its no wonder Armin is such a fan.
