Review: Hot on the heels of last year's Connection debut, Jadzia drops Hidden Universe. Fans of high-paced electro will find much to love here. "Close Encounter" marries Detroit and European sensibilities as intense acid sequences swarm in over a funk bass and a jittery rhythm. "Loophole" is more stripped back, but is no less lacking in the 303 department, with Jadzia layering in sulphuric acid lines. "Zeptosecond" marks a return to the intense sounds of "Close Encounter". Powered by a rumbling bass and intense percussive bursts, these elements provide the basis for malevolent 303s. The label has enlisted the services of Privacy, who turns "Close Encounter" into a bass-heavy stepper.
