Review: Martinesque is the new alias of veteran Swiss producer Adrian Martin, who presents the latest release on Adam's Bite, the label he manages for Nicolas R. Hagenbach that has presented some terrific releases previously by Traumer, Barac and Ion Ludwig. Martin kicked off the series with the inaugural release and returns here for ADAM 004 titled Deep Valley, featuring the the hypnotic minimal groove of "Profound", followed by some complex and multi-layered tech house on "Watercourse" and ending with the heady, afterhours microhouse of "Black Bird".
Review: Adam's Bite has tapped Christopher Ledger for its seventh release. The Italian DJ and producer is known for his impressive releases for the likes of Meander and Brouqade and the Anticipation EP continues in his inimitable style. From rolling and hypnotic tech house ("Interchange") and playful dubby minimalism ("Swap Function) to afterhours microhouse as heard on the title track and even a bit of electro ("Without Warning") - those familiar with his craft will find more to love with every play.
