Lee Pearson Junior a chance to strike out on his own. Vocalist K LaDawn makes an appearance on "The Real Deal", a rich, warm and hazy deep out cut full of drifting Rhodes chords and toasty live bass. "Love's A Secret Attitude" is a similarly deep and soulful number featuring the vocal talents of Aki Dawson, plus pads and pianos reminiscent of some of Heard's greatest moments. That track is accompanied by a fantastic Mi Chiba remix that adds a little Latin shuffle to proceedings, as well as a superb, Herbie Hancock style synth solo.
