Review: Manchester band Darktown Jubilee have generated a serious buzz with latest album City Of Light. Their bio compares them to the likes of The Courteeners and The Editors, which is strange, because this band is far from being more indie landfill. Their more forward-thinking approach has seen them collaborate with remixer Lempo and here the results really fizz. "In The End" is taught slice of danceable angular disco punk. Think Iggy at his new wave best fronting White Lies when they were good and you'll get the picture. They should get this guy to produce their next album!
