Review: Timeless anthems are a very rare breed, but one man behind a fair few is Armin Van Buuren, a pioneer of trance for well over a decade. Quite possibly his most famous track 'Communication' gets revisited here with some killer new remixes from some of the hottest names around. With the fresh takes it's hard to believe this tune was originally released 13 years ago, with John Askew and James Dymond both adding a forward thinking edge, with high octane builds, euphoric new lead lines, while keeping the unforgettable elements of the Original. Faruk Sabanci also delivers on his cut, with a big room sound sure to set the floors alight!

Review: It seems to be album mania at the moment, as here we get a glimpse of yet another full artist album, as Armind return with one of their best loved acts, the infamous all-American trio of Cerf, Mitiska, As always with the tricky first 'Single', you need to go big.. and it doesn't come much bigger than collaborating with trance legends Rank1. The Original holds all the song-writing and class of 'Light The Skies', 'You Never Said', 'Beggin' You', and it is unsurprisingly stunning. Our attention on this occasion however is taken by the pacier and ballsier Thomas Heredia mix. With Chris Reece also turning a punchy cut that will work in house and electro sets.. A contender for Album of the Year we feel, quite possibly!

Review: Armin wastes no time getting stuck into the new year, with a brand new single which is to be the soundtrack to the forthcoming 'In Love with Ibiza' movie. What better producer to capture the beauty and emotion of the Island that makes everyone's summer. His electric lead line and nostalgic chord progressions work with a stunning vocal from Floria Cutler, which is sure to become a cult classic as well as an instant floor favourite. The dreamy Original is fairly chilled (which is where the beauty comes from), so Beat Service step up and delivery a pacier alternative that once again hits the spot.

Review: It has been two years in the making, but the wait is very almost over as on the dawn of releasing his fifth studio album 'Intense', Armin presents the first single to be lifted from it. With an instant "Essential New Tune" on Pete Tongs radio show (no mean feat for a trance artist), if this is anything to go by, his sound is taking a housier direction. With a strong a radio friendly vocal at the forefront, coming from the brilliant Trevor Guthrie who's tone and delivery take this skyward. Where the Original has crossover in mind, the monstrous remix from golden boys W&W certainly doesn't.. its an outright bass heavy assault on the senses, made to destroy all in its path. There's also; Antillas & Dankann, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and some guy called David Guetta providing remixes... You don't need to be told, this is essential!

Review: To round of what has been a monumental year for Russian youngster Arty, the Armind label enlist some fellow hot talent to bring their flavours to his anthemic BT collaboration 'Must Be Love' featuring the now imbedded classy vocals of Nadia Ali. All three of the new interpretations are of the highest quality, however for us its Armada regular Shogun who wraps the stunning vocals in gentle melody lines and subtle deepness which brings plenty of warmth. The breakdown is an absolute joy too, and If you want more power then head straight for Dannic's cut, while Au5 sits somewhere between the two.

Review: Armin and his Armind label don't do things by halves, so when a remix ep is on the cards it has to be one full to bursting with a-list talent. What's more when its something as holy as his piano led anthem alongside Jan Wayne 'Serenity'. 7 years on, their powerful lead lines which instantly stuck in the minds of thousands are kept in tact, with all the remixers keeping a firm grip on the winning element. Man of the moment Andrew Rayel leads the charge on his racey and pumping peak-timer, while Bryan Kearney bring acid induced tech vibes, and Eximinds unleash a barrage of new melodies and uplifting power.

Review: The biggest trance DJ in the world drops his latest mega single on his own Armada label. Lifted from his latest artist album 'Mirage' and featuring Adam Young of Owl City fame. 'Youtupia' is one of Armin's more commercial releases, clearly with radio play and crossover potential in mind. That's not to say it wont work in the clubs, as his finely tuned production and soaring melodies still shine bright. An impressive remix package comes from Michael Woods, Blake Jarrell, and Tocadisco.. Something for everyone!!

Review: The Moldavian master Andrew Rayel returns to Armind with two new tracks, of the highest production quality we have come to expect. He has switched things up for this double header and nicely surprises with much darker tracks. The sounds used and minor progressions are both sinister and eerie, with 'Zeus' still packing plenty of punch for the dancefloor but sounding like something to drop at 4am rather than peak time. On the flip he lightens the mood somewhat yet using more unique minor melodies and distant sounds, for the equally intriguing and powerful 'Musa'. Two mystical tracks which will instantly inject freshness into your sets.
