Review: Dunk and Black Opps get busy on Ascension Audio with this feisty three-piece of minimal grizzlers. 'Grunge' gets all sludgey and curmudgeonly as the treacle-like bass slurs and burps all over the swaggering breaks, 'Coffee Drink' peps us up a little with deliciously pneumatic and skippy breaks and a pulsating bassline while 'Mood Swing' closes the EP with more of a dreamy element and the tease of a very well known (and super sensual) vocal sample. Forget Peal Jam or Nirvana, this is the real grunge these days.
