Review: The Doctor ain't messing around: S Gachet's Audiomaze relaunch continues with promise as we're introduced to another new face - LJHigh. Building on previous rep on Hybrid's Audio Addict, his rep speaks for itself with two burley, groaning rollers. "Pushed In The Corner" comes with that grumpy Serum-style low-slung aesthetic and imagination-capturing cinematic textures while "Come Again" builds with more of an atmospheric dynamic before dropping into a relentless jungle groove where the drums continue to layer and twist with destructive force. Big tings... No one puts LJHigh in a corner.
Review: 21 year salute: "Remember The Roller" is a seminal slice of music history that really captured the transition from jungle to drum & bass. An iconic tune commands strongarm remixes - which is exactly what the good Doctor has ordered.... Bladerunner does what he does best - smashed it to pieces while maintaining every single magic elements of the original. Heist, meanwhile, brings in more of a sub bass focus as the low end bellows like a hurricane under a sharper series of breaks. The utmost respect paid, you won't forget these in a hurry.
