Review: Bad Taste Recordings release music that's either fiercely aggressive or scarily minimal and this single from Bohemain and Drumsik happens to be both, a sick combination that, when done properly, always comes out right. This is one of those times and both sides are genuinely pretty mad, especially the B-side, the aptly named 'Madness'. The synthetic construction to the main melody is perfect, a bouncy collection of penetrating sounds which move in tandem to create a fluid, flowing piece of music. Hallucination is equally good and the whole single is wicked start to the year from Bad Taste.
Review: Welcome to the dark side of DnB here on "Black Bones" by Bosnian tattoo artist/producer FA11OUT (aka Senad Nurkanovi?) and veteran Vegas. This one-track attack makes death metal seem like country music and comes across like a Hironymus Bosch painting turned audio. A relentless barrage of noise, the track was 'moulded through dark ambience and apocalyptic aesthetics', and features hyper-fast amen breaks and punishing bass pounds. Tinnitus never felt so good!
Review: There's something fantastically dark and sinister brewing in Croatian Kodin's kitchen. Having previously dented the discography of Eatbrain with Billain with the motor-sampling "Feed For Speed" he makes his debut on the groundbreaking Bad Taste behemoth. "Get Yourz" is like a young Rockwell slurping molten steel sonics with its ghetto cuts but industrial strength tech funk while "Exobiota" sees him reuniting with unstoppable cyberpunk Billain with alarming, hair-raising neuro results. Raw.
