Review: Binalog boss Evanton has been rather busy of late. In fact, this two-track single is the producer's seventh outing on the label in as many months. First up is "Space Wonder", a brilliantly tongue-in-cheek romp through analogue synth-fired disco territory built around a chunky, Italo-disco style arpeggio bassline, Kraftwerkian vocoder vocals and more sprightly synthesizer solos than you can shake a keytar at. It comes accompanied by "Synth Wonder", a shorter, stripped-back revision that removes the beats in order to allow his colourful and spacey synthesizer lines a chance to shine. As mixing tools go, it's rather good.
