Review: Kommune Amsterdam curator Nathan Surreal is up next on Biologic: a record-label based between Marseille and Brussels, established and run by Abstraxion and DC Salas. It's an emotive hi-tech soul affair on the hypnotic beauty of "Star Dust", while the remix of it up next by Manchester's always impressive Adesse Version delivers as always. Less hi-tech than the original, his version is more deep and dusty with its tough breaks and shimmering arpeggios getting a nice and slinky groove happening. "Human Music" gets those life affirming vibes happening again in full effect with some elevating strings and funky dubbed out synth stabs riding atop some seriously tight rhythms.
Review: Panorama Channel are musical duo from Russia. Founded by Andrey Telegin & Kinly who follow up last year's great Chloe's Dream EP on Biologic with another wicked one for the London based label. On Jigsaw Lovers Club, the title track is an epic serving of futurist acid where that little silver box squeals away gloriously over tough rhythms, chugging arpeggio bass and some funky cowbells. "Teacher" is a vocal led number, which is woozy and ethereal, awash in layers of soothing pads and suspenseful synth leads: really channels that esoteric Crosstown Rebels vibe. Then its over to Hivern Discs hero Aera who turns in two equally brilliant remixes but its all about his ambient rendition of the tile track: where he really lets all that acid do all the talking. Just perfect for travelling without moving, if you know what we mean. That being said: his main remix was pretty good: powered by an EBM style arpeggio bassline while delayed guitar licks and neon-lit synths back it up superbly.
