Review: The latest release on 2000 & One's label is an all-Italian affair, as Danny Fontana teams up with Rich Venom. As the title suggests, "Binary 303" features wild, acid patterns that are supported by solid kicks and steely percussion. The label has commissioned three remixes of the track, and they all offer different perspectives: the Wex 10 remix sees the original acid line brought up a few notes and snare rolls added to provide extra impetus. In contrast, the Da Fresh version is more stripped back, but doesn't sacrifice the power of acid, which unravels over a gloomy bass, while the Mark Greene take is the most inventive, with insistent vocal snippets and steely drums underpinning the warbling 303s.
