Review: Bombstrikes welcomes Beat Le Juice to the label for his debut release. Whilst the Polish DJ & Producer may be new to the label, he is certainly no stranger to the scene, picking up a growing army of fans for his releases and remixes, combining funk vibes and electronic sounds. First up, '2 Funky' delivers a full-on bass funk assault with guitar hooks, synth bass, and powerful beats. This is all topped off by an anthemic talk box with Mr. Maph's funk vocal hooks and the deft flow delivery of EVeryman. The 2nd track, 'Lollipop' oozes class from the first refrains of its infectious synth hook, going on to combine elements of P-Funk with bottom-heavy modern electro. Finally, the title track 'Space Cadillac' combines soulful vocals over low-slung beats and bass to take the tempo down a little but loses none of the energy. If this is a sign of things to come from Beat Le Juice and Bombstrikes, then strap in because it's going to be quite the ride!

Review: Following in the footsteps of the likes of A Skillz, Beatvandals and The Allergies, Boca 45 helms the latest in Bomb Strikes' 'Funk N' Beats' compilation/mix album series, which has been running since 2013. As ever, Vol 10 features an eclectic, party-hearty mix of funk, hiphop and breaks jams, with wicky-wicky scratch sounds applied liberally. Notable inclusions this time around include two "never heard it like that before" covers of classics from the Spencer Davis Group and (sure to please footy fans) Gala, as well as Western Roots' reggae/ska-infused 'Bogus Daddy', while the bundled DJ mix version from Boca 45 showcases these sounds as they're really meant to be heard.

Review: The team at Bomb Strikes have been having a masterful 2020 in regards to the music they have been putting out there, a statement backed up by this blistering barrage of bass and breaks from Ninjula. The title track 'Spanish Princess' is an absolute weapon of a tune, combining catchy latin horn structures with lethal reesey synthesizer slaps to kick us off with a bang. Following this, 'You Know I Like It' takes a catchy riff alongside more potent horn lines to generate a spicy warbler, closely followed by the slower drum structures and choppy synth designs of 'What You Got' to round off an impressive selection.

Review: As ever, the Bomb Strikes imprint delivers an awesome package to us with this brand new 25 track compilation entitled 'Funk N' Beats Vol. 5', To be honest, it's exactly what it says on the tin as The Allergies head up waves and waves of funkadelic rhythms and crunchy riffs. For us the highlights have to be the futuristic drum processing and subtle percussive movements of 'Loose Gardner' from Flevans, along with the classic breakbeat fusion of 'Fire' remixed by Smoove but originally produced by the Renegades Of Jazz. With the sheer depth of the project it's easy to get lost within the tracklisting, which is always a good sign on a large scale compilation.

Review: Mooque teams up with Pimpsoul on "Feeling Good", with soulful, uplifting vocals courtesy of Bianca Gerald. The Tantrum Desire remix is a predictably rambunctious affair, full of synth screeching mayhem, gritty bass and Flux Pavillion style bellows and beeps.
