Review: Florentine imprint Bosconi get it right following the critical Altered Natives releases with this rough four track EP from compatriots Marcello Napoletano and IFM. The duo is probably at the forefront of the Italian house movement right now, and they fully demonstrate their innate capacity for delivering Chicago and Detroit influenced tracks that retain their own sonic identity here. Napoletano takes the lead, delving into fuzzy analogue jack on "Noise is the Cure" all filthy synth fills and rattling metallic drums, with "Summer Rain" occupying a similar machine funk vibe. IFM takes over with the introspective Detroit futurism of "The World Has Changed" but saves the best for last with the spastic screaming banshee jacking delight of "IFM Roots" a seriously, deliriously good track.
