Review: Following 2020's AREA release, Pilo aka James Ward returns to Boysnoize. "Everybody" is a dark, moody break beat affair, featuring a growling bass and menacing filters. "I Forgot Your Name" follows in a similar vein, with Pilo integrating muffled vocal samples and dramatic synth sweeps into his rolling breaks. The title track is similarly moody, but focuses on a straight dance floor groove and this framework provides a backdrop for dense, swirling textures. As far as returns go, this release is also notable in that it sees Pilo hook with Baseck to deliver the acid-tinged electro of "Feel 307" - clearly it's a match made in underground heaven.
