Review: Next up from the CNCPT Collective team, they have a spicy number from Disaffected to unveil as we take a fabulous dive into the more emotive side of UKG. We open up with the glittering displays of 'Post-Prang Twilight', a gorgeous fusion of breaks and garage influences all wrapped up in a bubble of aquatic pad textures and angelic vocal displays, giving this project one hell of a kick start. From here, the pace quickens distinctly as 'Can't Compare' takes us right back to the dance with a skippy display of percussive power and tidy drum processing, before the pure euphoria of 'You Know What They Say' gives us a killer final original. This one is doused in potent sub-bass manoeuvres and rave-shaking breakbeats, which are then all completely reworked into another emotive garage roller with the Elevator mix, rounding off the EP nicely.

Review: The most important thing to remember when planning a high profile dubstep compilation as to keep it both interesting and abstract at the time, a theme that the CNCPT Collective team has move certainly worked into their favour on this new 'Marble Effect' compilation project. The likes of Creme, Reaction, Telfonik and Xakra all supply some killer work, but we have to take a second to highlight our two favourites. Firstly, the unpredictable percussive expressions of 'Circa's Straps & Cash' is something for your ears to behold, jam packed with metallic goodness. We also can't get enough of Muttley's lethal 'Since Way Back', giving this project enough sauce to fight with the best of them.

Review: The team behind the CNCPT Collective movement have been on fire of late, with this new drop being the latest in a very impressive run. They welcome the combined flavours of Prizma & Killa P for 'Bun Down', a raucous single that is built off a sizzling low end-heavy instrumental from Prizma, jam packed with flutey tones, over which Killa P is let loose with one of his more energetic performances this year. Next up we dive into remixes as Somah arrives firstly to give the track a darkened garage flip, before Enigma Dubz gives the instrumental version a silky rethink. Excellent work as per!

Review: As one of the most rapidly rising projects out of Bristol right now, we were thrilled to see the CNCPT Collective team link up with the ever ready sounds of Hypho, who unleashes a tonne of dubstep-ready heat on this one. We kick off with the sumptuous bass tones of the title track 'Revenge Porn' before 'Terps' rolls into play, acting as a perfect glitchy base from which T-Man is allowed to let loose his punchy vocal presence. Finally, 'Fake Ass Thugs' lands and smacks us in the face. We feel honestly that this as an individual compilation is one of the most powerful pieces of music Hypho has ever created, packed with eerie spaces and sharp percussive crunches. It's just so damned tasty!
