Review: Whenever Circus come to town, it's widely understood to buckle down for a serious thrill ride, with this second edition of their All Stars collection delivering five absolute bombshells, opening up with an explosive return from Doctor P on 'In The Jungle', a warping rampage through blistering synthesiser slaps and skull crushing drum punches, followed by the thumping Rebel Scum rethink of Jessica Audiffred & Mila Falls' rolling epic 'Emergency'. Next, some more old school-inspired flavour as Conrank unloads a system-sizzling display on 'Eat Sleep Skank Repeat', utilising catchy vocal loops and hard hitting melodies, followed by a weighty link up from FuntCase & Jigsy King entitled 'No Get Away', bringing us a party-starting 4x4 epic. Finally, Franky Nuts & Fire Proof join forces for a bone-shaking D&B remix of 'I Won't Die', giving us a euphoric close to this fantastic collection.

Review: Flux Pavilion and Doctor P aren't messing around with Circus this year. Now flanked by a whole new league of exciting talent, while its main protagonists remain as innovative as ever, "Beats & Pieces Vol 2" is the latest premium dispatch: Dutch demon Frankie Nuts adds a little funk to his angular dubstep operations, Yultron switches up the halftime drama with an energy and playfulness that will slay dubstep and D&B floors while CRaymak gets busy on a contemporised 16 Bit style riff dynamic with added piano evangelism. Elsewhere Crissy Criss's Dead Exit revitalised "Soundboy Killer" with added skank VIP fun and up-and-coming Bristol badman Orby fuses Bobby Tank-style rainbow electro musicality with hair-raising bass gulliness. What a package.

Review: Huge rolling beats and big soulful vocals from Sharlene Hector take centre stage in this stadium-sized anthem from Dr Meaker and Cappo D. Kicking off with the extended mix to get things started, "Freaks" then takes a quick change of direction with a hard house cut from Low Steppa totally changing up the dynamics. Then, a nosedive into deeper waters with June Miller switches up the pace once again, devastating the chorus which hard-drilling bass and slamming percussion. It's hard drum and bass perfection. Did you expect anything less? Finally, My Don channels electro with an atmospheric electronica inspired redesign of the original. Pick up all four and challenge the dancefloor to something different

Review: Dr Meaker's fan favourite "Right Back" gets four remixes, giving a brand new perspective on this gorgeous little track. Beatmaker legend Break gets his hands on the first slot on the release, cutting into the drop in a stunningly stark way, weaving dark drums magic the only way he can. Next up is Nathan Dalton's floorstomping 2-step take, pumping out the garage vibes and cranking the bass up to roof-raising levels. If harder-edged drum & bass is more your thing, 12 Inh has switched the BPM right back up and added more than a nudge of extra percussion for a huge jump up vibe with a jazzy twist. Finally, because it was just so damn good, that bassy garage retwist is back for an extended mix. Excellent.

Review: London's finest beat clan keep on mashing with this awesome genre-smelting EP. "Birds Sing" fuses ghetto funk glitch bass, euphoric vocal anthemia and serious dancefloor kicking clout. Further on we're smacked into choral submission on the classical D&B hypemonger "Requiem" and we hit unrelenting breakbeat paydirt with the tech-funk lazer-bender "Shadow Dance" which sounds like Plump DJs back in their prime. And if that's not quite enough, Dodge & Fuski complete the set with a galvanised glitch version of "Jericho". What a package!
