Review: Computer Science is a record label based in Paris, France. Founded in 2009 by Laurent Heinrich aka Lifelike it's been mainly an outlet for his own work, alongside tracks by Roman D'Amour, Zorg and FakeFunk. Like the name would have you believe, "Bangalter" is indeed a blatant tribute to one of the all time greats of French house music, but Marseilles based Superfunk are legends in their own right too - they've been around for quite a while pushing their brand of funky and filtered grooves. The euphoric remix by Lifelike is undoubtedly a highlight: full of his trademark arpeggios, filtered breakdowns and vocoded loops. Belgian Sedat The Turkish Avenger turns in an even more impressive remix that works that SP1200 groovebox (famously used by the likes of Alan Braxe and Fred Falke) like a you know what!
