Review: In a decade-long career German producer Danny Scrilla has amassed an enviable discography for any European trying to crack it in the UK. Appearing on labels like ZamZam Sounds, Civil Music and Cosmic Bridge, Danny Scrilla returns to Om Unit's label with a mini-LP taking in a plethora of grinding 85bpm sci-fi steppers in "World Below" to the Juke-inspired club grooves of "'Sparks". Two highlights for sure. Find something more synth, slow-mo and disco in the sparkly and chugging rhythms of "Suede Suit", next to some abstract dubstep and exotic percussion in "The Undying" or the future instrumental basspop of "Onyx". New wave experimental dub meets neo-soul, disco and pop!
