Review: Leeds' Submotion Orchestra is much more than a seven-man production outfit, the band is a collective of musicians who are just simply into electronic music. The diversity of their releases is both impressive and utterly shimmering with beauty, and from stripped-down, soulful post-dubstep to chilled-out house music, they deliver all sorts of perfection. This latest album, Colour Theory, is much more than just electronic beats and far-out sonics, and goes further beyond to tackle aspects of pop, downtempo and nu-soul.
