Review: The Criminal Tribe did not come to play with this latest drop as they delve into the most metallic depths of hardcore for a vibrant four track collection, welcoming the enigmatic sounds of Little Orange UA. We begin with the devastating drum crunches and pleasing metallic vocal skits of 'Crusher', a gnarly title track that sets up the EP in good fashion. From here, the constantly evolving synthetic manipulations and pulsating drum breaks of 'Fire Tower' then provide us with a meaty follow up, alongside the unpredictable soundscape switch ups of 'Ready To Leave' for another rollercoaster of a ride. Finally, 'Kanon' gives us a final anthemic injection of fun, slowing the pace for a tidy closer! Lovely work.

Review: For this extended project, Under Influence returns to Criminal Tribe with a stack of highly energised remixes from the likes of Krizzz, Lloyd The Barber, Izotope and more. For us the real standout tracks on the compilation are Furst Lowlett's scatty, indie inspired overhaul of 'Big Mean Woman' along with The Crime Synth's heavyweight breaksy rework of 'Restless Dance' which draws acidic influences and smashes them together with potent drum work.

Actually he never really was young was he, but he did inject a certain chutzpah into the big beat genre back in its heyday. This new EP, in which Rory Hoy and Under Influence remix each other's records, recalls that kind of energy. There are six slices of mayhem to feast on here, highlights of which include the souped-up, heavy hittin' 70s blues-rock of "Gangsta", the (slightly) more laid back brassy grooves of "Soul" and the hardcore rave referencing "Feel Dis".
